  • Idyllische bungalow aan zee in Linstone Chine Holiday Village in Cliff End Freshwater op het prachtige eiland Wight. Bij deze accommodatie is gratis onbeperkte Wii fii beschikbaar. De bungalow met twee slaapkamers is gebouwd in baksteen en heeft een badkamer met bad en douche. De keuken en woonkamer zijn open en de woonkamer heeft een t. v. met recorder. Buiten de bungalow is een patio met terras tafel en vier stoelen met parasol indien nodig. De accommodatie is geschikt voor 4 personen en is comfortabel ingericht en goed uitgerust voor al uw behoeften, een echt thuis ver van huis. De bungalow biedt een adembenemend uitzicht op het prachtige landschap aan de voorkant en over de zee naar de naalden, aan de zijkant van de bungalow. Het dorp Freshwater is een korte rit of ongeveer 15 minuten lopen. De zeer populaire stad en veerhaven van Yarmouth, waar verschillende zeer goede pubs, restaurants en cafés zijn, ligt op ongeveer 30 minuten lopen. Het strand is te zien vanaf de zijkant van de bungalow en duurt slechts vijf minuten te bereiken door via de vakantieplaats naar de afrit te lopen. Een korte weg verderop op het strand zijn café en strandbar en restaurant en traditionele emmer en schoppen en ijs te koop. Vanaf het strand zit u te kijken naar de boten die voorbij varen en geniet u van het prachtige uitzicht op het Hurst Castle over het water.

Beautiful and peaceful walks. Beaches short distance by car. The bungalow is set in a great position, fields at the front and part of the fort behind. Hosts were great they kept us informed of any changes, e.g early check in and late check out. They always responded promptly. Thank you Marina

Bungalow was spotlessly clean, decorated nicely and had everything you need for self catering. Beds were very comfortable.Location is super with countryside views and yet nearby access to beach.We would certainly book again.

Cliff end is a lovely bungalow situated opposite Hurst Castle. The views are tremendous. There is access to the beach which is sandy in low tide. The house is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The host, Marina, was available for questions and gave us sightseeing tips. It was a lovely holiday.

Great little spot with beautiful views

Everything we needed

A lovely Easter break, the property was exactly as described and perfect for me and my daughter. The site has a crazy golf and playground and lots of space for kids to play. The views were great and we would stay again.

Comfortable bungalow in great location

Bungalow is in a great area for walking, with views of the Needles and sunsets from the back. Well equipped - even has an air fryer. We found it a comfortable place to relax after a day out and about.

Property was clean on arrival, check in was easy. Property is located in the country side, on the cliff looking out over a beautiful bay (albeit view from property is inland). Beautiful sunsets from site, and dark skies for star gazers. Generally located on the quieter side of the island

Week at Cliff End

We were very pleased with our stay. Though the property is part of the Linstone Chine resort it is actually a few hundred yards from the main resort area and hence offers more privacy and better views. It was very clean and perfect for our requirements. The location is perfect with great walks literally from the doorstep. We used the bus service rather than the car as you can get to anywhere on the island via Newport.

Home from home highly recommend accommodation.. Host go out their way to ensure a comfortable stay. Accommodation is ideal with breath takings views/scenery, there are a couple of excellent costal walks on the doorstep. Location has easy access for many amenities and excellent restaurants. Recommendation Horse and Groom approx 5 miles on the the A3054 Excellent communication from the host you will not be disappointed with this accommodation. Clean, comfortable, well equipped, no screaming children or barking dogs.. Good views when it was not raining or foggy. Poor lighting in the seating area- had to use torches to read by and bathroom could do with a shaving mirror Unlikely to return as poor approach road bad for car suspension and old bones

Lovely place to stay

Stay for a week in mid August and it was so nice, everyone was polite and friendly in the Neighborhood, views was amazing every window you looked out of.. would recommend and will be back next year!! Communication with the marina was quick as well if you got a problem always can message her! Thank you

Home from Home by the Sea.

The bungalow was convenient, clean, spacious and very comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and furnished. The kitchen was well equipped with all the extras that I had forgotten to pack. Eg salt, pepper, kitchen tool, foil and tomato sauce. There was plenty of hand wash in the bathroom. The cleaning cupboard contained all the essential items. To summarise “A Home from home”

Pretty good

Could do with some updating. For instance who put the bathroom cabinet and mirror up. Need to stand on tips of toes to shave. Also the mirror in the twin room. Shower door needs new water seal along the bottom edge - looks as though never cleaned YUK! The settees are looking very tired with holes and internal stuffing showing. The electric fire in the lounge does not work. The lounge clock has stopped. Quite a few ants on the prowl but no ant powder? If you are going to provide a 'J Cloth' then how about a whole one? Most of the windows need a bit of general maintenance so that they can be opened and closed effectively. Generally ok but too many niggles. You did ask!

Prima huisje op mooie locatie

Dit huisje is ligt boven op een heuvel met aan één kant veel gras en uitzicht en aan de andere kant zicht op zee. Heerlijk om vanuit dit huisje even naar beneden te lopen naar zee en stenen en schelpen te zoeken. Ook is er op loopafstand een bos waardoor je ook weer bij het strand uit komt.
