'after check-in, which was friendly and quick, we went out for a short walk before diner. the surroundings of the hotel are quiet and friendly. after a long drive very welcome. If we visit the next time the UK, we will go to this hotel again.'

'We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast made to your order with additional cereal and juice available. The staff were very friendly and concerned about our needs. Car parking was provided at the back. The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. '

'The Kings Head is a nice quaint hotel/ pub in Masham. However there were a few issues with the property. There were a few cobwebs in our room and I don’t think that is acceptable, especially in a family room or any other tbh. However, the thing that irked me the most was that when we arrived at the hotel we were advised that we could only go for dinner at 8pm as 7 and 7.30 were full. This was ok for us but when we arrived at the restaurant at 8pm we stood for some time and were ignored. When...

'Met expectations of a 5* hotel. Unfortunately there was a power cut, this was not a fault of the hotel. The staff handled it brilliantly and we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay despite the slight set back.'
