Waterfront Home - Bekijk een zonsondergang vanaf het bubbelbad, privéstrand, prachtig uitzicht!

Begin je reis door in te vliegen op Kenmore Air of door middel van een prachtige veerboot. De cabine ligt op slechts 16 km afstand, of u nu de veerhaven van Friday Harbor of de luchthaven van Friday Harbor bezoekt.

In de cabine vindt u alle voorzieningen van thuis en nog wat. De bijgewerkte keuken is voorzien van roestvrijstalen apparaten en een eettafel die groot genoeg is voor het hele gezin. Alle basics van de keuken, zoals servies, koffiezetapparaat en broodrooster, zijn beschikbaar naast speciale functies zoals een wijnkoeler.

Kom het strand verkennen en zie de dieren die elke dag bezoeken, barbecueën en tuinspellen spelen, of gewoon ontspannen in het bubbelbad terwijl de schepen in de verte voorbij drijven.

Als u zich terug wilt trekken, kruipt u op de banken met een boek of beleeft u een spelavond aan de grote tafel voor het hele gezin. Er is genoeg zitplaatsen voor de hele groep en je kunt genieten van het onbetaalbare uitzicht op de baai door de omliggende ramen.
Deze hut is ontworpen om s'mores bij je strandvuurplaats te hebben, een wandeling langs de waterkant te maken, de kinderen op de speelset te laten spelen, een gastronomische maaltijd in de goed gevulde keuken te koken of gewoon naar de zonsondergang te kijken boven Henry Island terwijl u ontspant in de hot tub.

Er zijn veel avonturen te beleven en veel te ontdekken tijdens je verblijf. Op het eiland vindt u: San Juan Zip Tour, The Whale Museum, Pelindaba Lavender Farm, San Juan Island Distillery, Bocce Ball Courts, the English Camp, Lime Kiln Point State Park Interpretive Center, Horseshu Guest Ranch, rondleidingen variërend van walvissen spotten zeilen en nog veel meer!

Een schitterend weekend op het eiland San Juan

Onze aankomst bij de vakantiewoning in Roche Harbor was boven verwachting, op de foto's leek het erg mooi, en dat werd nog overtroffen toen we gestteld waren.Heerlijk in de hot tub. Mooie zonsondergang ,en uitzicht op zee. Heerlijk gebarbecued en prima uitvalsbasis voor tochtjes op het eiland. We hebben genoten.

We had the most comfortable and relaxing stay. The house is located on such a beautiful property. The view never got old; it was wonderful enjoying it indoor, outdoor, or in the hot tub. The property felt private and serene. The house itself was very comfortable, had everything needed for an easy stay. We hope to be back.

The manager promised us a night’s refund for our troubles & never did. The septic tank alarm repeatedly sounded & we had to turn it off. The sump pump under the house ran for over 24 hours disrupting us & causing stress. The nasty worn & scratched floor needed to be vacuumed when we arrived because of all the hair & dirt. The main bedroom window was wide open because of a propane smell from the kitchen. The bed was unmade, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, wet & dry linens were left in the machines & there were no instructions for the heating units or appliances.

Gorgeous property, scenic views, and a great hot tub for relaxing.We loved being able to bring our dog with us, that just put it over the top!The kitchen was beautiful, and had thoughtful amenities, like an electric kettle, espresso machine, as well as a coffe maker.The bathroom was even updated with heated floors.

This property is just fantastic. The views, the wildlife in the backyard (deer, owls, woodpeckers, seals, otters, foxes, various birds, posters), the yard, the beach, the hot tub. The property is very near Roche harbor. Nitpicking any small imperfections would take away from a truly 5 star property. Hope to be back one day.

Amazing location, very private, great views from the house and from the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped, and many toiletries were provided in the bathroom. A few areas for improvement that are by no means dealbreakers… The outdoor trash cans were nearly overflowing from prior guests. This resulted in us having to do some Tetris-like stacking with our trash. The arm chairs in the living room had multiple holes in them. The throw pillows on the couch, and the pillows on the beds, were quite stained. There is no AC, and the weather was rather warm when we visited. The beautiful windows that allow the incredible views also turn the house into a hot greenhouse when it’s sunny. We couldn’t leave one of the largest windows open to air out the house because it was missing a screen and yellow jackets kept flying inside. Some additional fans and screens on all the windows that open would be helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and would recommend this place to someone looking for a quiet retreat with excellent views close to Roche Harbor. The location outweighs any negatives I mentioned.

Location is everything!!! Roche Harbor is only a 15 minute walk down the road and then a path through beautiful woods. We were pleasantly surprised at how much larger the property is than photos depict and yes we had visitors every day, a mama deer and her two fawns! Note: we brought paddle boards and a kayak - check out the shoreline at low tide to see the best access point to the right of the stairs. The water was exquisite!

Feels like home. Amazing views and location.

Exactly as described. It’s in a beautiful location at the north end of the island so it’s very calm and secluded. The views of the water from the back yard are great. We saw several river otters and other wildlife. The jacuzzi is a definite plus. The house itself is cozy and feels like it’s actually a home, and unlike many vacation rentals it includes plenty of space - and actual dressers! -to put clothes away. It was a perfect base for exploring the island.

I spent a month at this place, so I’m very familiar with it. The setting of the house is magical: fantastic view of the bay, easy access to the water to swim or launch a kayak, lots of room to run if you bring your dog, as I did, and the house is private and well off the road, which is itself very quiet and a wonderful place to walk. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the water is divine. Access to the place was easy, and Jenny, the property manager is very responsive. The house itself, however, leaves something to be desired. Closet knobs missing, a kitchen drawer off its tracks, electrical outlets that don’t work, light bulbs burned out, torn upholstery on the furniture, and significant dog damage to the front door and entry floor, which one might expect to be repaired since they charge for damage. The living room rug is badly frayed, and I had to spend some time pulling threads out of the vacuum cleaner one evening. The deck paint is peeling, and the spa cover is torn and so damaged that it is waterlogged, very heavy, and difficult to get on and off. It would also be a nice touch to have a TV (the current one only plays DVDs) and a small table on the deck where you could have a coffee in the morning. Many of these problems have been mentioned before by others, so hopefully the owners will take notice and give the place a bit of badly needed TLC.

Astounding view, cozy accommodation

It’s a beautiful property and the views are fantastic. The yard is large and nice, and the hot tub is clean. The house is comfortable enough but could use updates. However, the beds are comfortable and the place is clean. If I owned this house, I’d upgrade the screens (to prevent ants and bugs, but we only saw a handful) and the living room furniture. Overall it’s a great place!

Nice stay to visit

The location is very nice, situated on a private beach with good access to Roche Harbor and the ferry terminal. The property offers decent amenities, making it suitable for a relaxing stay. However, the house could use some maintenance, particularly the deck, which really needs to be repainted. The outdoor grill lacks proper cleaning tools and is dirty; the wire cleaning brush is also overdue for replacement. Inside the house, some of the furniture is worn out and has torn areas. On a positive note, the kitchen is nice, and we enjoyed cooking during our stay.

Relaxed and rested.

View was stunning inside and out. Saw deer and baby fox’s and porpoise. Hot tub needed a water change and property manager made that happen next morning!! Kitchen was good to cook in other than 2 lights were burnt out and it needed some small sharp knives. WiFi was fine. Peaceful and pleasant to sit outside in the sun. A cross breeze cooled the house quickly when the windows were open. The house did need some minor attention. A few outlets were taped over, some big nail holes that needed to be filled, a wall here and there that needed paint, white towels in bathroom that need to be bleached or replaced along w the toilet seat which literally has the paint worn partly off. A few hours of attention and the house would be greatly improved. Appreciated it being dog friendly The dog had a great time too.Saw pods of orcas on the whale watching tours we did. What a change in scenery!

Upon pulling into the property, you are immediately hit with a sense of peace and tranquility! Nothing could beat sitting in that hot tub over looking the ocean. Except when magical sunsets, fox visitors, and a warm cozy bed are included as well! We loved our stay so much, our kids were very sad to leave!

Peaceful getaway close to Roche Harbor

Beautiful location, view and perfect amount of nature right in the back yard! There were deer, foxes and seals each day coming to visit. Very quiet and peaceful. The road loops to Roche Harbor and is a lovely 3 mile round trip run or walk. I didn’t realize there was no tv channels (dvds only) and that turned out to be the best thing for motivating me to drive over to the bookstore and pickup a book I’ve been wanting to read, and a puzzle for the rainy days. Cold plunging into the ocean each morning to start the day was my favorite part! Very cozy. Very quiet. Thank you for the experience!
