I got to my first room and the tv was fuzzy and the phone didn't work so I switched to another room . I then had a cockroach on the BR wall I killed and showed them so I went to another room but door wouldn't open with a key went to another room. Hall floor and carpet on stairs needed vacuuming I was comped one night.

My review is not based on past experience with Super 8 as this is my first stay at a Super 8 in at least 20 years. This will be compared to simply what a hotel could do better or was great at. Going into this experience I was not fully expecting much out of it but it was better than expected. First off, staff were friendly and helpful. Room booked with Expedia and given room in front of elevator. This wouldn’t have been preferred but luckily there weren’t many guests and only was an issue just before sleep for 2 minutes. But elevator worked and reliable, which is better than past stays at other hotels. Breakfast consisted of pancake maker, bread with jelly, cereal, and honeybun packets. Juice, warm milk, and coffee as an optional add. Bedding had a large stain on sheet. Bedroom wall had boogers on wall. A/C and Heater worked great as well as refrigerator and hot/cold water (also better than most past stays at other hotels) Could improve on throwing out stained sheets and looking for boogers on the walls. Bed was hard and sleeps stiff. Offers many pamphlets of local attractions.

We booked the family room. And it was impossible to fit into the bed. Second and worst, my kids got itch, with whole body blisters. Then I ask for new Lenin and iron it all over, seems some kind of allegen in the bed sheets or washed in worst detergents.

We booked it as a last minute decision. The tub creaks, you only got two towels for 2 adults, no 1 small shampoo and body lotion (thank goodness I always pack extra. They seem to rent rooms for people to live there as well. Have breakfast from Dunkin Donuts or Our Hometown Diner. The coffee was not even tolerable. Was very disappointed.

We had a wheelchair bound person. Your small entrance door did not have an automatic button. Getting up to the door was really hard. It was steep and the crack at the curb level was too deep requiring backing over the crack and pulling up the steep incline to a door that opens outward. This made our coming and going really difficult. The continental breakfast was really small. No english muffins eggs or breakfast meat. The only fruit was apples. No bananas? No one at the desk regularly. Vending machines empty in the lobby. I feel like a hotel practically at the entrance of skyline drive should be more enticing.

Our stay at the hotel was fine. The room was clean which is a plus. The breakfast area is a bit small, not enough tables (only 3) which made you sit at the couches or take your food to your room. All in all, our stay was good, the beds comfortable.

Let me start off by saying I have never wtote a hotel review. The first night that we arrived it was very late. I was traveling with my husband and child in one room and older son and friend in another room. When we arrived we went to our room. The first issue was the TV did not work. Figured its late were going to sleep soon we will address that in the morning. The first time we flushed the toilet it clogged. My husband went down stairs to tell them and also advise about the TV. They sent him backnwith a plunger and told him to unplug the TV and plug it back in. We had already tried that and tried different outlets. It didnt work. The next morning I got up to get around. I went to use the hotel hair dryer and when I did that didnt work. I figured out Ill unplug it and use mine that I brought. When I went to unplug it a COCKROACH crawled out of the outlet! The outlet and was cover in roach droppings. I took a video and went down to the front desk. I asked for the manager. Was told he wouldnt be available till after 1:00pm. After 10 minutes of standing at the front desk asking for a refund, a manager, or even the number to cooperate the lady texted the manager. When he called me he told me he could only refund my money if I checked out. Fair enough I didnt want to continue staying at the hotel. When I went back to the desk to get a refund. This was a Friday morning I was told I couldnt get one till the following week.
