goede 4 sterren maar niet top !
Dit hotel is zeker niet slecht maar wie al eens in een goede 4 sterren heeft verbleven zal het verschil merken ...vers fruitsap dient er volgens mij elke morgen te zijn ! dus je ziet kleine details maar die maken het verschil tussen een goede en topvakantie ! Ook dient er Nederlands gesproken te worden bij de animatie voor de kinderen ... jammer voor de Belgische en Nederlandse gasten :(

Hotel Elba Sara in Fuerteventura
Very good hotel, the restaurant (self service) has much choice of fresh and well cooked food. Beach on 100 meters distance. About 2 kilometers away from the town of Caleta. Therefore very quiet. Ideal for families with small children or persons who don't seek exciting night life.

schoon hotel en mooie tuin en zwembad
Wij hebben een fijne tijd gehad in het hotel. Het ontbijt was super verse sappen enz. Het hotel had een all-inclusive formule maar weten wij verder niets van. Wat wij niet zo van gecharmeerd waren is animatie team. Maar dat ligt meer aan ons. Wij willen altijd een beetje rust dus komen hierdoor niet terug in het hotel. Receptie en ander personeel super vriendelijk. Hotel ligt ver van het plaatsje maar is een heerlijke wandeling.

WE FOUND THE STAFF WHERE VERY FREINDLY AND VERY HELPFULCHECKING IN TO ALL THE BAR STAFF AND OF COURSE THE RESTURANT.THE ROOMS WERE VERY CLEAN .I WOULD LIKE TO COMMENT ON THEOUTSTANDINGENTERTAINMENT IN THE LOBBY BAR .THE ONLY THING I WOULD ADVISE IS FOR THE TELEVISION WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE SINGING BE TURNED OFF .WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR ALTOGETHER WE SPENT 21 DAYS OF ENJOYMENT.

Das Hotel hat einen schönen und gepflegten Garten. Keinen Strand. Das Essen insgesamt ist reichhaltig, aber leider immer KALT. Das Special Dinner ist sehr schlecht organisiert. Wir wurden als Letzte hineingelassen und somit war das 1. Gang Buffet bereits leer und zum Hauptgericht gab es keine Beilagen mehr. Eine Beschwerde an der Rezeption brachte - ausser dem Versprechen, man melde sich bei uns - rein gar nichts. Das Zimmer wurde nur einmal gereinigt (am zweitletzten Tag), ansonsten nur die Badetücher und einmal die Bettwäsche ersetzt. Alles in allem verspricht das Hotel auf dem Prospekt mehr, als es hält.

I recently stayed at the hotel and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The room itself was in a terrible state, with peeling wallpaper, dirty carpet, and a musty smell that made it hard to breathe. The bedding was stained and uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat and offered no support. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, with hair and grime in the shower and dirty towels. To make matters worse, the staff were unhelpful and unprofessional. When I brought the issues with the room to their attention, they were dismissive and unresponsive. They were not willing to help or make any effort to improve my stay. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was rundown and uninviting, and it was clear that they did not value their guests' comfort and satisfaction. The hotel was also far from any tourist attractions or restaurants, making it difficult to enjoy my time in the city. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and will not be returning. I have stayed in many hotels before and this was by far the worst experience. I would advise anyone looking for a place to stay to avoid this hotel and look for a better alternative.

Be ready to pay extra for everything
It's a pretty nice hotel with very good management. A bit outdated but well maintained. Isabel at the reception was so nice and helpful, she is amazing and Hermano (I believe) is just a star. Amazing example when people do their job with all the heart. The only and biggest issue I had was the lack of water everywhere! I was not allowed to have even glass of water during dinner, that's ridiculous! I paid £180 per night with half board food and when I came to have dinner I was told that I am not even allowed to have a glass of water, I need to pay for any drink I want to have. At least they did not say anything when I gave water to my baby form her bottle, I was really angry and ready to argue about that too. That's a shame, I won't be back here because of so awful company policy. They really could do with free water at the reception and restaurant areas as other hotels do.

Overall ok. But maintenance in generel is not ok. Loose tiles - missing and broken tiles at the pool. Typical charter hotel with pool workout etc. Some like it - I dont. I booked Elba Sara hotel for our first time in Fuerteventura celebrating my 29th birthday. We had a lovely stay! The hotel is very close to the airport. Room was spacious with pool/ sea view. Not the most modern room but it was ok. Aircon didn’t really work, same with the fridge but it didn’t bother us. Food was very good, every day different dishes, and even when there was not too many options the ones available were delicious. Good selection of drinks available also. One main restaurant for all meals. The only thing missing was some background music. Any type of music would do. Unfortunately all you could hear was the plates and people chatting which gave the atmosphere of a canteen and that was a shame as the restaurant was very nicely designed. Staff were very friendly and always trying their best. Nice atmosphere around the pool and good entertainment throughout the day and also in the evening, they have an outdoor bar and another 2 inside the hotel with nice shows every evening. The hotel is close to the golf course, shopping centre, beach, beach restaurant if you fancy going out but it has so much to offer that you may not feel the need. I was very surprised to find a bottle of champagne in the room on my birthday, very nice touch, thank you very much to the management! It’s a perfect place and can’t wait to go back!

We loved everything about our holiday! The staff were lovely and friendly. The food was amazing, they did different food themes every night e.g Italian, Mexican, British etc. The whole hotel was clear and the view from our room was beautiful. I really loved having the choice of either sitting by the pool or sitting on my own balcony. There is lots of things to do there and was very nice exploring outside of the hotel as well

Had a lovely room, best part of hotel. The rest could do with updating, its a bit tired and lacks any atmosphere. The staff they have are good and work hard, were profesional and courteous. They just need more of them. Food temperature in buffet needs resolving, lots of barely lukewarm foods. Good location, lack of evening entertainment generally. Could be very good if a few things were looked at and a bit of money spent modernising.

No frills Boring Outdated & brown decoration Full of manky vicious stray cats everywhere Stinking rotten fish smell in part of the hotel makes you urge NO BEACH, the gate is locked by a padlock and it is full of big rocks, bushes and weeds. There is a derelict fortification on the beach in front of the hotel and it is full of beer cans, rubbish and is used as toilet because it stinks and adult business after dark. The beach at a neighbour is approx 500 yards away that they tell you to use and there is no beach bar or WC, so you have to walk a 1km round trip to go back to your hotel to get a drink. It is a public beach so you can't leave your belongings alone and most of the guests had to lay on their beach towel on the sand because of lack of beds and parasols. There are naked people (OAPs and children) on the beach. No atmosphere No bellboy No public relations No concierge No service in the restaurant, serve your own drinks from press button nescafe machine No change of food options = boring, unappetising for 3 hrs not touched and dried out (people were sick) No info about allergens, half the items didn't have a sign, the wrong signs or foreign No pool drinks service No slippers & dressing gown No iron & board No free safe Empty fridge No excursions desk or info No info about weather No change of entertainment, repeated a sax player 4 times in 10 days. One a la carte Italian restaurant, I was given 1 visit time at check in for the 10 day stay (time and date given to me)

First of all, it’s not stated anywhere that our Hotel has a private beach: the nearest beach is located at less than 500m from our Hotel, and in this same website - which you used for your booking - we specify that it is at a 6 minutes’ walk.There's also a map you can consult to check its proximity.No padlock locks our back gate, which can be opened by our guests with their room’s keys.Right on the beach there is the lovely Chiringuito beach bar, which serves drinks and food and which provides also WC service for the beach users.Furthermore, the shopping center “Atlantico” is right at the Hotel’s side (3/4 minutes’ walk), with public toilets, shops, bars and restaurants.Therefore, there is absolutely no need to “walk back to the Hotel to get a drink” if you don’t want to.The “derelict fortification” you mention is an ancient ruin of a lime kiln,an historical site.Even if it's close to our Resort, it's not part of our complex and its maintenance and cleaning are not our responsibilities.With regard to the presence of some nudist tourists - in Caleta de Fuste they are almost non-existent – we are sorry you felt disturbed by their presence but we remind you that the beaches are public and they don’t belong to our Hotel (in which nudism is obviously forbidden).We don’t have a bellboy/concierge (and we don’t advertise this service anywhere) because our Reception is open 24h/day.We do have a Public Relations Manager (working 8 hours/day, 5 days/week) always available to help our guests in anything they may need during their stay.Her desk is clearly visible, placed in our Hall just in front of the Reception Desk.Our Restaurant is Buffet-style and we don’t have table service for the food (the guests make their plate choosing the food they prefer from the trays displayed), but we do have table service for the drinks, even if most of our All Inclusive guests prefer to serve themselves from the dispensers.Every night we have a different themed dinner (Canarian, International, Spanish, Mexican and Asiatic), and our guests are generally happy with the variety on offer.Every dish in our Buffet is labelled with the name of the food and the allergens, displayed in 5 languages.Our Head Chef is always available to show to guests with allergies/intolerances which are the suitable options for their dietary needs.The only thing the guest has to do is to inform our staff at the entrance of the Buffet in order to call the Chef and get assistance.In case the guests have doubts about the food they are choosing, both our PR and Manager on Duty are available at the Buffet entrance to provide more specific information, with the assistance of the Head Chef.Our pool bar is open from 10.30h to 17.30h with waiters serving drinks to our gues

Die Poolanlage war sehr schön. Auch das Animationsteam hat seine Aufgabe gut gemacht. Es gab jeden Tag ein gutes Programm. Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer allerdings lässt zu wünschen übrig. Wir kamen in ein Zimmer mit dreckigem Boden, Handtüchern und Bett. Nach einer Beschwerde wurde nur das Bett neu bezogen.

Hotel was very clean throughout and staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. The room was large and well furnished, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was also large and the shower was powerful. I thought that the €4 charge per day for safe was a little cheeky considering this is a 4 star hotel. Decor throughout the hotel, including the rooms, was tired and needs refurbishment. The bar in particular needs attention, the furniture was well past it’s sell by date. The drinks were however, of very good quality with premium brands available. The bar staff were very hard working and cheerful The food was variable, some days it was good and other days not so good. Breakfast was okay with a good selection of food but dinner was a mixed affair, sometimes good, sometimes the meat was very tough as though it had been kept warm for some time. The pool area was lovely and there were always plenty of sun beds and shades. The gardens were exceptionally well kept and the water feature and fish were well looked after as were the cats in the cat cafe. The cats don’t bother you by the way if you are not a fan!

Spring Break in Fuerteventura
Nice hotel in quiet location however not too far from main town. Staff very friendly and courtesy. Rooms with exceptional views of the Ocean. Plenty of free and safe car parking places which is important for us. We were in Caleta de Fuste in March and there was no problem in getting a sun lounger. Good choice of food for Breakfast and Dinner.

Negatief: Netheid, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
Das Essen war nun ja....gut, Unterkunft gut...dennoch muss man sehr lange durch das Hotel laufen, kein beheizbarer Pool....also im Winterzeiten ist unmöglich zu schwimmen, leider im Rastaurant - Kakerlaken

Positief: Personeel en service, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
L'emplacement est très approprié pour les golfeurs avec 2 parcours tout proches; la proximité de la mer est également un grand plaisir Le restaurant est un peu impersonnel, sans beaucoup de charme.. Le fait qu'il n'y est pas de sortie directe sur la plage toute proche est dommage... Les repas sont variés et de qualité correcte; mais il est vraiment dommage de ne pas avoir de vrai café ( avec une machine à café en grain par exemple); ce n'est que du café soluble....
