Hawthorne Lakefront Cottage op privé, Spring Fed Lake, huisdieren welkom

De afgelegen Lakefront Cottage ligt op bijna twee hectare bebost terrein met pijnbomen, eiken en esdoorns. Geniet van het prachtige uitzicht op het water van Star Lake vanuit de woonkamer of grote wrap around dek. Star Lake is een privé, lente-gevoed meer dat wordt erkend voor uitstekende vissen, zwemmen, ontspannen en drijven op een vlot, varen en skiën. Zorg ervoor dat je wat vissen uitprobeert, want Star Lake is geweldig voor het vangen van baars, blauwe kieuw en maanvis. Hengels en tackle zijn aanwezig. Geniet van het rijden met de 2-persoons kajak rond dit 234 merengebied.

We bieden ook 2 fietsen om te gebruiken als u niet van het water geniet. De grote graswerf is perfect voor het spelen van buitenspellen. Geniet van een kampvuur, rooster marshmallows en staar 's avonds rond de vuurplaats naar de sterren.

De smetteloze cottage aan het water heeft twee ruime slaapkamers, een badkamer en een grote woonkamer met een open concept, bestaande uit een keuken, een eethoek en een woonkamer met een panoramisch uitzicht op het meer. Beide slaapkamers zijn uitgerust met prachtige meubels van Amish gemaakt van massief hout. De keuken is volledig gevuld om uw maaltijden in huis te bereiden. Het grote massief houten, Amish gemaakte ontbijthoekje is perfect voor het verzamelen van familie in de buurt om te delen in de overvloed van uw vissen op het meer. Buiten dineren op het dek op een mooie poly timmerhout Amish patio set is ook beschikbaar.

Ons huis is zeker uw thuis weg van huis en het perfecte toevluchtsoord om er even helemaal tussenuit te zijn!

This lake house was fantastic. The pontoon boat was flawless and it was a very comfortable ride and great to fish from. The house had everything you needed and I can’t say enough about the dock. The screened in porch is such a great idea and so comfortable. The fan and light in there were great. Caught a lot fish. Saw a lot of wild life and just enjoyed myself immensely. Bailey, my dog , would agree. This is the place to get away from it all. Thanks for letting me stay in such a wonderful lake house. PERFECT

Little Piece of Heaven!

As has been our experience in the past, we had such an amazing time just doing a lot of nothing! Our favorite thing to do! We caught some fish and ate them…..another of our favorite things to do. A Great Escape

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is it. This lake house offers a lot of amenities, is well maintained and is comfortable and clean. The wraparound deck overlooks the lake. And the screened gazebo is a plus. The host is very responsive. I highly recommend this place.

Perfect getaway!

My wife and I had a lovely stay at this property over Valentine's week. We brought our 2 dogs, who also loved the lake and rural surroundings. The property had all of the perfect, thoughtful touches for pet-parents, and all of the amenities you could need for a stay. Communication, and recommendations were timely and on point, and the home was spotless. Would love to come back as often as we can in the future!

Relaxing stay

We were looking for a property to accommodate our family of 3 and dog while we attended the UF football game and visited our son. Although this property is about a 35 minute drive to campus, it’s a relaxing drive and welcoming environment after being around 80K people at a football game! We would definitely stay there again.

A Little Piece of Heaven on Earth

I cannot think of enough accolades to describe how amazing this lake place is. This is our second stay and we enjoyed it as much or more this time as we did the first time. It is so nice to have a vacation place that allows us to take our dog along and NOT have to worry about her one little bit. She feels right at home!!! Linse is a jewel and she and her husband have created a special place to share with others that offers a chance for their tenants to get back to what is truly important in life. Spring Break getaway

Our stay was wonderful. We had everything we needed. We saw eagles and other wild life everyday. Fishing is good right off the dock, we rented the pontoon and found it very nice to cruise the lake.

A wonderful lakeshore cabin!

Love this place. Hope to come back. Loved the screened dock room and watching the eagles and noted that there was a barred owl nearby. Went kayaking and hiked the nearby trails. Even watch a SpaceX rocket launch. My dog enjoyed the thrill of the hunt with the lizards who teased her at every turn. So relaxing and rejuvenating!

Peaceful & Fun

My sister and I had a remarkable stay at this lovely place. The house was adorable, clean and comfortable and the property was absolutely stunning. We took the pontoon boat out on the lake twice and even though the temperature was a little chilly the boat was really fun!! Our puppies even loved the pontoon rides. We hiked some local trails for 3 days and loved coming back to the comfy house (with an absolutely stunning view). We had a fire in the firepit and roasted sausages and marshmellows which was perfect for our chilly weather. Linse was an amazing host and made the entire process easy. She also left us a warm welcome note and bottle of champaign - what a sweet way to start off a little adventure. The reference book was full of things to do, places to go and had all the instructions you need, (I wish every VRBO owner did this) which makes the stay so much more pleasant. I would reccomend this place to anyone who would want to have a "base camp" for local activities or someone that wants a lovely place to relax. I would definately love to come back and stay here. Thank you Linse, you and your lovely house was fabulous!!

Wonderful Stay!

Lake Life

If you like a quiet cottage getaway, with option to rent a nice pontoon then this it. We love to grill and cook and fish, so this is paradise for us. No real night life, but we’re fine with that. Gainesville only 30 minutes away. Plenty of nature parks and hiking in the area. Owners are very available to chat with any concerns or advise you may need.
