'We stayed at the Villa Tea Fields for one night during our visit to Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean/combortable, bathroom was newly renovated/modern. Staff were very attentive and courteous. Breakfast was excellent. The balcony was a great place to relax, read a book, take in the view of the garden - very pleasant experience. 'We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

'La Pentera heeft ons erg verrast. Wij waren de aller eerste gasten welke mochten verblijven in het gloed nieuwe hotel. Bij aankomst werden wij ontvangen met een kokosnoot met een rietje en een brede glimlach. Wij hadden de boomhut gekozen als verblijfplaats. Deze is echt prachtig. Als verwelkoming kregen wij een rondvaart in een traditionele kano over het naastgelegen meer. Op en rond het meer hebben wij de meest uitzonderlijke vogels gespot en zelf apen gezien.
