'Excellent property in all respects but tucked on a promontory down a cul de sac which is currently under repair requiring a detour through an office car park which detracts from the sense of arrival. Not however in control of the hotel and will probably be fixed soon.'

'The best place to stay. This is boutique accommodation on a quiet street, a short drive to the main attractions. I loved being surrounded by nature in the pool, seeing beautiful birds and monkeys in the trees, bats and fireflies at night. Staying here was the highlight of our time in Galle. The rooms are large, very clean, with comfortable beds. Our host made us the most superb breakfast each morning. 'The villa is built as an old roman villam with an open patio with pillars untill the roof and a pond in the floor. The rooms are spacious. Super safe and quiet. A lovely garden in which you can have breakfast. '

It is located on the coast and walkable to loads of shops and restaurants. It was our favourite hotel in the two weeks we spent in Sri Lanka. '
