You will stay on the characteristic island of the “Beautiful City”, surrounded by history, with a wonderful panoramic view that combines the charm of the ancient village with the intense blue of the Ionian Sea.
The interiors are designed to offer maximum functionality in well-organized environments:
SLEEPING AREA: A comfortable double bedroom, designed for maximum rest, which directly overlooks the characteristic alleys of the historic center. The room has a private bathroom with a shower. From the bedroom there is access to the staircase to go up to the terrace.
LIVING AREA: A single bright and welcoming environment. The open kitchen is modern and fully equipped. Next to this room there is a second bathroom with shower, a significant plus.
THE TERRACE: The real highlight of the house is the beautiful private terrace for exclusive use, the perfect place to enjoy the sea breeze and admire the view of the historic center of Gallipoli. The terrace is the roof of the apartment and is accessed via a fairly narrow external staircase.

Note for guests: The apartment is on the first floor and to access it you need to make a comfortable staircase with a handrail, but quite long. Both the bedroom and the living area overlook this staircase and for this reason we do not recommend staying for guests with young children. To access the terrace, you also climb a characteristic external staircase, rather narrow (about 45 cm wide). The stay is therefore not recommended for people with reduced mobility and families with young children.

THE LOCATION: Experience the magic of Gallipoli on foot. Leaving Palazzo Contarini you will find yourself a few steps from the ancient city walls, the Angioino Castle and the characteristic fishing port. The traditional restaurants, shops and golden beaches of the coast are all within easy walking distance.

During the summer months, you could park your car at the port car park, a few hundred meters from the house. Access and parking in the historic center is limited in summer.
