The house wasn’t as clean as it looks in the picture. I was barefoot in the house and I could feel the stickiness. The blankets didn’t smell clean either, it had a weird odor. The floor was sunken down in the kitchen part, needs replacing . The front yard had trash and grass was unkept. They didn’t mow until the next day we got there. The dishwasher has an odd smell. The door was not a regular keypad so it wasn’t easy to lock or unlock at first. Surprised for the 202 they charged to “clean”. Other than that, it was like 5 mins to Walmart and the beach. It had several beds for a large family.

We all loved the property! It was close to all the things we wanted to do and experience on our vacation. Will definitely like to stay here again in the future!

Its a very nice house, plenty of space. We had a family game nite with some board games available. Fooseball table. Its close to the water and almlst anything you want to do on the island

Nice place

This house was close to everything you could possibly need. Restaurants, fast food stores,gas stations, clothing stores pharmacy and close to the beach. It had internet and a grill. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Place was okay, convenient location to where we were going too. Owner was easy to reach. Only downsides were the nieghbors blasting musics after 10pm to 1:30am and again at 6:30am. And three roach encounters (I don’t mind a bug or two) but felt perhaps fumigation should be done here and there prior to people staying.wifi worked well.

Property is not terrible for the price, it’s cozy, has beach toys including boogie boards for the kids in the garage which we enjoyed, lots of bedroom space and beds to choose from, mostly clean but we did note some hair stuck to the shower wall and we did see a roach crawl across the kitchen floor on the second night, not sure if this is just part of being in Texas as I know they have those things down there due to the warm weather.

Great spot close to everything!

We loved this place! Great location next to all the attractions and the beach. The house was clean, and exactly as described.The only small complaints we had is that the bathroom window does not have any blinds or curtains, so it doesn't offer much privacy. We ended up just hanging a towel over the window while we were in there. Also, the bed in the back bedroom is very stiff, and not very comfortable.Other than that, this place is amazing, and we will plan on staying here again in the future.

Check in was challenging, no email or communication on how to get in etc. Same went for exit instructions, no communication. I sent a message the night before and did not hear back until after we had already left. Also was odd to text a house manager to change the AC temperature etc. Front door lock needs to be fixed, total pain in the rear.... Ultimately it worked for us. 4 guys on a golf/fishing trip and we all had our own beds. We were not at the house much. Washing machine did not work well and has a leak(notified owner). This house has some good aspects to it, it's just not fully fixed up yet. Bathrooms were fine, with towels etc. Some previous guests left soap/shampoo etc. so that was a plus. For the price, it worked....

Good stay, slight overlooks

Trash of previous stay was still there on the outside of course. The grass and the big bush in the front needed to be cut/trimmed. Floors seem soft and creaky. The house was pretty well cleaned. Overall a good stay!

Several light bulbs were missing or didn't turn on. They had us send pictures of the bulbs but never replaced or offered to come fix lights during the stay. Heavy rain leaked through the back door and completely flooded the front yard into the street.Overall a decent place and good location for where we needed to be.

The property is rundown, smelled like a bag of diapers. Trash was piled up outside, I notified to POC and the trash was still there when we left. When we arrived, I contacted the point of contact on the email and sent her a picture, and one of the back gate laying on the ground, no one came to get the trash or address the gate. The front door lock only works when it's cooler outside, if the sun heats it up, you cannot use the digital key pad. We cleaned the house to get rid of the smell, but the whole foundation is rotting away and may be causing the smell. The pictures are better than the house by a long shot. There are stains on every surface of the house. I would recommend staying anywhere else.

Would not rent again

Ok let me just do a short summary. House looks great at first sight once you actually get in after struggling with keypad. Couch has horrible stains, lots of cockroaches we killed around 8. RAT poop in bathroom drawer. Shower does not work properly. Very busy road sirens and load cars all night. I have pics for roaches and the poop in drawer. Very unsanitary.i would never recommend this place. We didn't use anything there for fear of getting sick. We just showered and slept in bed was we could not make other arrangements so quickly.

The Ac was set to 74 so it was boiling hot. There were no dressers, nightstands or tv’s in the bedrooms. No stopper in the bathtub. The garage door didn’t work. We ended up getting it to but there is no opener so you have to go into the house to open it from inside. 1 car can fit in the driveway. No on-street parking. Washer/dryer didn’t work. I wouldn’t feed my dog food cooked on that grill it was so disgusting. Outside chair was broken so someone fell when they sat on it. The pool is filled in but the skimmer is only filled 2-3 inches from the top and covered with a doormat to hide it so I fell when I walked over it. Mouse traps behind the bathroom toilet. The BIGGEST issue was the front door. It would beep for 10 minutes after you open it cause the batteries were low. Door hinges were loose or missing screws. The door was missing the striker plates and the lock holes in the trim were so hollowed out no screw would stay. I contacted the property manager about that issue and she told me someone would be there in the morning to fix it. I asked for updates late in the morning since no one came and all she mentioned was the washer. I felt completely ignored. Our safety did not seem to be a concern. I contacted VRBO later and they finally came and changed the batteries and lights, no mention of door. Suddenly the AC would be ret and we walked into it being 77. Seemed like retaliation for calling VRBO. We left at 11pm, 4 days early and still no response, apology or refund.

Ok Stay

The pictures are older. The tree in the yard was so overgrown I could not get my kids out the passenger side of the car without scratching the car. The house was set at 65 degrees the first night and we froze, had to sleep with our jackets on. I text Erica in the morning, and she turned off the control for us to be able to increase the temperature. The code was not right to get into the house and I had to also text Erica and she sent me a new code with six digits instead of the original 4 digits I was told in my email, The spare room off the garage with the fuse ball table was disgusting with dead bugs and all. I sent Erica a text and she had a cleaning crew who came out and they did a very light clean. The floor was still fifthly and gross. I would not let the kids go in there to play. The house worked for what we needed but I cannot recommend it in good consonus.
