  • Mooie gracht huis, omringd door water op een dubbele veel met grote dockspace voor vissen en tieing boten naar de West Bay hit trofee forel, roodbaars, en bot. Het pand ligt op de hoek van het kanaal (gemakkelijke toegang tot de West Bay) en aan de overkant van de wetlands. Deze eigenschap wordt letterlijk omringd door water. Het huis is bijgewerkt met granieten werkbladen, roestvrij apparaten, hout en travertin vloeren. De master suite is afgezonderd op de bovenste verdieping.

    Een grote familie thuis in een geweldige familie buurt! Geniet van vissen en krabben recht uit het dock en de omliggende schot. De werf heeft genoeg ruimte voor een partijtje volleybal en hoefijzers. De woning heeft 4 decks, 1 groot terras aan de woonkamer, 1 toegankelijk uit de keuken en de logeerkamer, 1 uit de slaapkamer, en 1 uit de slaapkamer kast. Het dok onder het grote terras biedt een plek voor een hangmat, stoelen om te genieten van 's ochtends koffie, een barbeque en wastafel, een tafel met stoelen en een outdoor televisie met stoelen om te genieten van sport of televisie met het hele gezin. Het huis is voorzien van alle linnengoed en een wasmachine / droger. Alle luxe van thuis, zodat u niet hoeft te reizen met extra's. Het huis ligt op slechts 2 minuten van Jamaica Beach oceaan en 8 mijl naar Schlitterbahn Water Park en Moody Gardens! Leuke bars en restaurants op slechts enkele minuten van het pand.

The house was so well stocked, had everything we needed and then some! Beds were very comfortable, lots of amenities and activities available right at the home. We hope to stay at this spot again, it was a wonderful experience.

Nice location. House was not clean at all and there were cobwebs all over the place, floors were not clean, the description of outside furniture was not correct, kitchen was poorly supplied with cookware, kitchen appliances were the cheapest ones at Walmart, no privacy in master bathroom, all the decks on 2nd and 3rd floor are in poor shape, couldn't get a couple of the exterior doors to even open, fishing and crabbing was terrible. This is probably the 20th house we have stayed in on the island and there are much nicer houses for the price we paid for this one.

We had a geat time at the house, everything was as expected. Mich kept in touch with me to make sure we enjoyed our stay and was very informative about the house and Jamaica Beach. We would definitely stay again!! Thanks again Mich for allowing us to stay at your house for my daughter's graduation.

It is a nice house with gorgeous views.

Staying right on the bay water for this price is a great place to go. It is not a new construction, but it has been taken care and it was comfortable for us six people. It has a new & clean couch in the living room. We had amazing five evenings during Spring Break week 2023!

A few days before checking in I received the instructions on how to gain access to the property and what needs to be done for check out. Instructions say there is a keyless touchpad to enter and a key box for the bottom lock just in case it accidentally gets locked. There was not a keyless keypad and the key box was a little difficult to open and the keys in there were for the top lock. Once inside there were dishes still in the dishwasher and towels still in the dryer. The information on the email said there was a set of pots and pans but there were only a few pans. A lot of roaches in the house and one of the nights there was a heavy thunderstorm and water started to come in from under the doors. Tons of mosquitoes but that’s expected since we are right there on the water. Location was good.

This house looks nothing like the pictures! Extremely rundown! Mold in the shower! Rotten out cupboards underneath the kitchen and bathroom sinks. Crusty old towels! Every door was filthy! Locks don’t work! When we arrived house was unlocked and wide open. Bath tub in master drips all night long. Location was great, however, you couldn’t even enjoy the water view downstairs because the chairs were rusted out!Three of our guests ended up not spending the night and leaving because they got sick from the mold and how dirty the place was!Master bed was comfortable! Railing upstairs for the master is wobbly and a hazard!!!

Family Vacation

This was a great place to stay. We caught fish from the dock and enjoyed sitting on the decks. The tv in the outdoor space was great for night fishing and watching football. We would definitely would rent this house again.

Very nice house but little things need to be fixed.

The over all property was very nice. Nice kitchen, but non stick pans had Teflon scraping off which is a hazard. I suggest replacing with steel. More silverware is needed. Family room was nice and well kept. Bedrooms were in decent shape but needed a fan upstairs to keep air moving. Water pressure was absolutely horrible at the kitchen sink and upstairs shower but surprisingly the upstairs sinks had plenty of pressure. Toilet downstairs was running when we got to the place. Seal is gone on the tank filler and needs to be replaced. Broken off plug in the upstairs GFCI by the tub. Overall space was very dusty and not cleaned to a standard I have come to expect from VRBO. No broom that we could find to sweep so we just used the bathroom. Broken outside furniture. This could be an awesome rental if only things would get fixed up a bit.

Great!!

Much better than expected. It is actually more decorated that shown in these pictures, which I enjoyed. The upstairs Master's Suite is very large with a to die for closet (small room) which is not shown. There were numerous games, volleyball, croquet, floats, kayak, rods & reels, tackle, nice seating outside, etc. The only negative was the propane grill was not working, but there was a small charcoal grill that worked for burgers, which was all we needed since we caught no big red's to blacken. Everything was really nice and much enjoyed. Thank you!!! Oh yes, there was always a breeze which meant 'no skeeters', probably because the location of the cross canals.

I stayed here only for 2 nights with my family and we didn't want to leave... It is very easy to arrive with the indications tha that Mick provided. Communication and handling was very easy going. He was available when we needed him. I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect house on the Island...

This place has everything we were looking for in a rental on the island: on the water- perfect for us to do some fishing while the rest of the group relaxed on the huge deck overlooking the canal. It's close to the beach and close to the nightlife of Galveston (but far away enough to see the stars and hear the waves at night!). The house is nicer than my house in Houston- so that was a nice surprise as I have stayed at a lot of beach houses on the island! Very clean, everything was update and practically brand new. Just a very cozy, convenient place to take a last minute trip with my friends. We will definitely come back!

Wow!! Amazing Rental for relaxation, entertaining and definately fishing.

Cannot wait to come back! My family and I were looking for a place to stay on a last minute getaway, and we could not have found a better house! Booking was extremely easy and the owner even followed up multiple times during the trip to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The house was in immaculate condition when we showed up and just as we expected based on the listing and pictures we saw online. Our group had five adults total and the home was the perfect size, and included all the necessary amenities for our vacation. My family and I would definitely recommend this place to others. We hope to make this house as part of our annual family trip, if they will let us :o)

Jamaica Beach Rental

My wife and I joined two other couples in Jamaica Beach for a long weekend of fishing and fun and were not disappointed! The house is spacious and well kept with beautiful outdoor areas for grilling, watching football and even sun bathing for the ladies. The nearby fishing was fantastic - plenty of food for the outdoor grill every evening! The neighbors are friendly and the area in general is the perfect location for a vacation with friends and family.
