U zult genieten van de adembenemende SUNSETS en SUNRISE vanaf onze balkons uitgerust met meubels waar u kunt zitten, eten en ontspannen. Dit Galveston appartement is een ideale plek om het gezin mee te nemen voor een strandvakantie. Nieuw vernieuwde, toegevoegde functies zodat u alles kunt vinden wat u nodig hebt. Ruime woonkamer en slaapkamers, nieuwe houten vloeren en meubels, evenals een nieuwe wasmachine / droger en elektrische grill. Ruime woonkamer met toegang tot wifi en tv, evenals bordspellen geschikt voor het hele gezin! Gasten zullen genieten van 2 resort-stijl zwembaden, baaizijde zwembad met lazy river-functie, een fitnesscentrum, restaurant, lounge van de eigenaar, speelkamer, cadeauwinkel, beveiliging, tal van sociale activiteiten het hele jaar door, verzorgd strand, en een prachtig uitgestrekt privébezit met prachtig landschap en paden over het eiland van strand tot baai!

Er wordt een polsbandje in rekening gebracht voor toegang tot de Beach Club tijdens het hoogseizoen - 1 maart tot en met 15 september; Beach Club-polsbandjes bedragen $ 10. 00 per persoon voor alle leeftijden van 4 jaar en ouder (voor het hele verblijf). Buiten het hoogseizoen - 16 september tot 28 februari; Beach Club-polsbandjes zijn gratis (max. 9 volgens het associatiebeleid dat 3 polsbandjes per kamer toestaat). Extra polsbandjes kunnen worden aangevraagd voor $ 25. 00 per dag. Pointe West is een prachtige resortgemeenschap aan het einde van Galveston Island in de buurt van San Luis Pass en Jamaica Beach, dus je kunt dicht bij alle actie zijn!

We had a wonderful time at this property. Easy to access the beach and was fun to hang out on the patio and listen to the music next door at the clubhouse. Really appreciated the covered parking and access to an elevator for easy loading/unloading.

Great Location with Responsive Host.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beachfront condo on Galveston Island. The location is fantastic - right on the beach with beautiful views and an excellent on-site restaurant that made dining convenient. The pool area is beautiful and offers direct beach access.The condo itself was clean and well-organized, which is not always the case with pet friendly properties. It's clear the owner takes pride in maintaining the property. The patio was a highlight - spacious with nice views and a lovely breeze that made it perfect for relaxing.The owner was exceptionally responsive and helpful throughout our stay. When a couple of minor maintenance issues came up, they were addressed immediately, which we really appreciated.

We have stayed in different units within these condos for the last 3 years, this unit by far was the best location wise! In the past we have had to drive to the beach club, but the pool and beach entrances are just right outside of the building. Very convenient!

Nice property, would stay again

Our stay was mostly good. The host communicated well, the property was clean and the host was not overly picky about how the property is used; they just basically asked us to treat the property the way we would treat our own home. The check in process and check out process was very easy. We had a sick child the day we checked in and we were so glad we were able to get in a little early! Also, there are a couple of very nice balconies to sit and hear the gulf. The property grounds are well-maintained and lovely. The condo is well stocked with pans, plates, cups, silverware, appliances, etc.There are a few issues (some of which I think the owner will correct because they probably just have never been pointed out). It was not obvious to me that the pool and hot tub were part of the beach club, which requires paying a separate fee of 25.00 per person. It was also not obvious that some of the amenities are not directly on the property where the condo is (they are down the road). The amenities are very nice, though, and maybe not highlighted enough in the description. Also, we had 6 people and could have used a few more towels, washcloths, etc. Lastly, the condo did not seem to cool below about 75 degrees during the day. In the evening it got cooler. This is only an issue for us because we like it very cool in our house (68 year round), but this was just a minor inconvenience. 100% would stay again and highly recommend. Great hosts; you will not be disappointed with your stay.

We were very much looking forward to our stay. The location and ability to have the beach and pool was exciting but unfortunately we won’t return to this unit within the property.Upon checking in they didn’t have my correct name and the information they sent only had the code to enter but not the property or number. I wasn’t that bothered at first since I figured I would just message the host. I message the host and received no response. We eventually figured it out through the front desk but it took about 30mins.The property is in ok condition but we knew that when we booked. Everything was going well except we went to do laundry and the washing machine (which is from the late 90’s/early 2000’s) didn’t work. It filled with water but nothing else. We are grown adults who know how to fix things but even the spin cycle didn’t work. This wasn’t a huge issue except the day after we checked out the owner tried to charge us 300 plus because there was water in the washing machine.Overall, we had a poor experience and I would not trust this owner based on poor communication and charging for things that were already broken and old.

Great Family Vacation

Amazing location and perfect size for our family of 9. We had 6 adults and 3 kiddos - and there was a bed for everyone! This unit is super close to the beach and the beach club. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the band play at the bar (and we didn't have to buy drinks!) We also enjoyed the Sunrise from the front balcony and Sunset from the back. We had to change our reservation due to a death in the family and host was very accommodating moving the dates for us! We will definitely be back next year!

Great Condo

We had a great stay at this condo. Condo was clean and nicely decorated. The location is convenient to the beach club. The pools are great, good food at the restaurant. We were able to get a reservation for our large party at the last minute on a holiday weekend. My only recommendation is to bring bug spray, the mosquitos are very bad all over the property (no fault to the owner!). All in all, a great time and experience.

Nice Visit But Could Have Been Much Better!

Immediately noticed many light bulbs out - FRONT ENTRANCE, master bedroom, light over stove(!). Window blinds need to be replaced - this is the first thing you notice when you enter the unit! HVAC system is a nightmare! The "NEST" system is hi-tech, but not useable by non-tech users - we were never able to control the HVAC system, even with the assistance of the owner! Cleanliness - All kitchenware was visibly dirty and had to be washed before use (we spent several hours washing tableware and silverware!). The GFI doesn't work in master bath or on porch. The refrigerator needs serious attention - it told us that it needs a new water filter and a new air filter. When we arrived at the unit, the refrigerator was screaming an alarm that it needed attention and we had to turn it off. This unit needs serious attention!

It is super far (30 minutes) to most anything. We were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of order the whole time. We only had 3 small beach towels, no wash cloths and no dish towels. Tons of light bulbs were out, washer/dryer were filthy, cigarette butts all over the patio and blinds were rusted open.

A previous review said the property could use a good cleaning. That is still true. The unit had a damp, fishy, stale smell that lingered throughout our stay. There were several spots of black mold spread throughout the unit on the ceiling. This was our first time visiting an oceanfront area of Texas, so maybe this is a common problem, but needless to say - we weren’t expecting it. The dishwasher did not thoroughly clean the dishes. We hand-washed all the dishes before using them. In all fairness, I did not message the property manager about any of these issues during our stay. The unit had ample space for our family. The 3rd bedroom with bunks and trundle was perfect for the kids. The Pointe West grounds are very well maintained and clean. This unit is close proximity to the pool, fitness center and walk ways to the beach. The walk to the beach was longer than we anticipated … but this unit is one of the closest to the beach. We ate dinner at the restaurant on site - the food was good and portions were sizeable.
