House is spacious and beautifully decorated. Beach area was perfect. Close enough to walk easily. All of the beach equipment (Wagons, cooler and chairs) made it extremely easy to spend the day at the beach. The beach was clean and quiet. Extremely relaxing!

Fabulous experience!

Such a nice property! We loved the easy access to the beach, the spaciousness for all 9 of us, clean and comfortable! Highly recommend and we will be back!

Great Family Getaway

Our family loved this home! There are three nice sized bedrooms with their own bathrooms and each with great natural lighting. Light colors and cool air made for a relaxing stay. There is a fourth bedroom on the top floor with bunks. The dining area and family room are open and roomy. Great decks and a lot of lower level space for hanging out and storing gear. There are nice running/walking paths throughout the neighborhood and the best part is that the beach is so close and not at all crowded. Plenty of room to play in the water and sand. Eight adults, three nights with lots of fun and memories!

Senior Sunrise

We had a vacation with five high school senior girls! They are all graduating, going off to college and this was one last hurrah before they’re separated! We had a fabulous time, great location beach was perfect no complaints, the house was beautiful! The hammock and outside decks were perfect!

Relaxing Spring Break

We loved our time here and found it very relaxing. The beach is just a short walk and the stretch of it by the house was very isolated. We enjoyed both of the pools. We liked being further away from the city and it was a very quiet area. The house itself had some maintenance issues. We couldn’t use one of the bathrooms from the time we checked in on Saturday until late Tuesday morning (toilet lever broken and could only be flushed by reaching in the tank and pulling the chain, shower drain extremely backed up). Easter Sunday was that weekend, so it could be why it took awhile for repairs, but they were handled. I’m surprised those weren’t reported/fixed before our stay because they were like that immediately upon our arrival. Also, the outlets didn’t work in at least two bathrooms and jacuzzi jets don’t work in master bath. It’s not as pristine in some places we’ve stayed in, but it’s a beach house and we had kids with us, so it didn’t bother us much. Overall, we had a great time and had enough space for our two families to spread out!

Rally weekend

Although we attend the rally every year, this was our first time to stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The neighborhood is wonderful, and so is the house. We had everything we needed, and the owners absolutely went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a great experience. I even left a personal item at the house after our stay ended, and they retrieved it for us and worked with us and made sure we got it back. We will definitely book with them again. It was a pleasure!!

Great stay in Pointe West!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Monkey Sea, Monkey Dune. The home is spacious and well appointed with just about everything you could possibly need while on vacation. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and relaxing in the hammock. The beach is a short walk away and so peaceful. The hosts are fantastic — super communicative and helpful. Thanks for the memories. It was a trip to remember!

Family Week at the Beach

We loved our week at Monkey Sea Monkey Dunes. Beach access was so convenient and very nice beach. The house was equipped with most of the beachy things we needed. The house had all of the amenities for a baby, cooking, and grilling. The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Only downside was the bugs were so bad that we didn’t get to use the lower outside patio space.

Great location for a family to relax.

We loved our stay. The house was great and in a perfect spot. It was quiet and relaxing. Kids loved the beach and the pool area. Took a couple trips into Houston while we were there for the zoo and the Astros game. The whole family loved both. Couldn’t be happier with our stay thank you.

Monkey Sea Monkey Dunes

Close proximity to the beach. Comfortable. 2 Outside decks face west, so the sun and the heat made it uncomfortable to enjoy in the afternoon and evening. The house was spacious enough to accommodate us. Each bedroom had its own bathroom! That was a plus, in addition to the outside shower that we took advantage of. It was especially helpful for the kids when we came in from the beach! The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The downstairs patio was inundated with flies that prevented any eating at the picnic table. Probably due to the proximity of the trash cans. I’m not sure why they were so prevalent. There was no food or open containers in the vicinity. Overall a nice property! Beautiful setting!

wonderful family beach house

We had a great week at the beach in this house. We had relatives in town, so we were 3 couples plus kids, so the bunk bed room was a big hit for the cousins to have a slumber party. Big balconies overlooking the pond and just a short walk to the beach — this was our 2nd stay at the house and we will definitely come back!
