De Blue Lagoon is het laatste historische eilandhuis met 20 inch verlaagde tinnen plafonds. Dit 1 verhaal 4/2 slaapt 10 op luxe matrassen met luxe beddengoed. (Verhuur inclusief een 1/1 gast apt totaal kunt u slapen 12) Houd al uw gasten op de begane grond zonder extra trappen. Vermaak uw gast in een keuken van de chef-kok met nautische den en eethoek. De locatie ligt in het hart van alles, maar u kunt 's nachts rustig slapen. Loop naar het strand of diner of speel een toneelstuk of concert in "The Opera House". Je kunt zelfs door een paard en wagen worden opgehaald. Perfect voor een bruiloft of een avondje uit voor meisjes. Boek een massage ter plaatse ... ga dan de veranda op om de tropische tuinen te bekijken die op je wachten.
Loop naar het strand in 5 blokken, loop naar restaurants, de jongens kunnen een vissersboot hoppen en de meisjes winkelen de hele dag. Waarom nog 30 minuten en mijlen toevoegen aan het westelijke uiteinde als je in de stad bent ... Geniet van ons eiland en sluit de dag af met de beste achtertuin op de tweede na alleen humeurige tuinen. Mis het grote spel niet vanuit de hot tub met plaats voor 12. Plan koffie op de veranda en geniet van de kustbries. Loop voordat je vertrekt naar beneden en bezoek enkele van de mooiste architectonisch ontworpen kerkjes in Texas!

Loved the beauty of the house! Pool was amazing! Loved how spacious everything was! Host was great!Only Complaints would be:Downstairs apartment needing a little extra cleaning. T.v in downstairs didn’t work Guy came in to clean pool and startled everyone but didn’t have to stop swimming or anything Everything else was great and highly recommend!!!!!!

Great place for a getaway, yet staycation! Family in town for son’s graduation. Home is very big and not crowded even with all the adults. We loved spending all our time in the pool and hot tub while watching NBA playoffs from the hot tub. Grilled and enjoyed a family celebration all together. Owner was always available and very prompt with responses.

This was a perfect location for hosting a group of good friends (mostly attorneys and engineers in our late 30s/early 40s) for a weekend of enjoying the best restaurants and bars Galveston Island has to offer. Plenty of space for everyone, and we were walking distance to both The Strand and the beach. The outdoor space was a perfect place to hang out as well. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The host, Ramona, was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Stunning house. Most responsive host I’ve ever experienced. Never waited longer than 5 minutes for an answer or instruction. Short walk to the beach through a wonderful Old Galveston neighborhood. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Bring extra towels if you plan to swim/hot tub. Great outside seating & eating areas.

We came to Galveston to attend the Dickens on the Strand and celebrate my sister’s 50th birthday. We had an amazing time. We normally rent a beach house but I was happy to find a historic home with room for our family. We had a wonderful time. The home is historic and so charming. We will definitely stay again.

The host is fantastic! this antique home is fantastic and very well supplied. plenty of room for a large group. We went for the Lone Star Motorcycle rally and the location is very well suited to both sides of the rally (walking distance). The pool is beautiful and the neighbors are very friendly.

Four of my old study group were able to stay together, along with one whole tag-along family (mine). We all had our own rooms and plenty of space in the kitchen and living room and porch to talk over the good old days. The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had the necessities. The basement « apartment » was perfect for louder pre-teens who also made good use of the pool. It was fantastic to maximize the time we spent together. We used the hot tub. The garden was lovely to hang out together in during the day. Really was perfect!

The home is a beautiful home steeped in history. The original hardwoods, the ornate ceilings, the large windows and more! The backyard had a wonderful custom pool with a huge Hottub. There was plenty of comfortable seating areas, an outdoor television and A clean grill. The host was friendly and helpful. We will be back. a clean grill.

The property was clean and well stocked. The only problem we had was the air conditioning unit was unable to keep up during the day. When bedtime came around, the house was unbearable due to the high tempeture.

My husband and I, adult children and two young grandchildren stayed for 5 nights. We enjoyed the pool which is the only way to tolerate the August heat. The flies and mosquitoes were bothersome, so be sure to take your repellent. We grilled steaks and shrimp on the home grill and ate gumbo from a local restaurant. We had everything we needed. The downstairs has an extra living area which we didn’t utilize.(It was kinda spooky down there. LOL! Yes, we would stay here again.

We had a girls trip to Galveston. We have been friends for 60+ years. It was a perfectly designed home for use. It had 4 bedrooms in main house and a garage apartment meant with bedroom at ground level. The main level is one flight of stairs above ground level. I’ve stayed in several VRBOs and this was my favorite, the kitchen was well appointed with everything you would need & the bedroom and common areas were comfortable and clean. The Lagoon swimming pool was the absolute BEST! Just exactly as shown! The hot tub over flowed into the pool creating the perfect water temperature. Be sure to read information the host left so the pool with remain perfect.. would definitely recommend this property and we all look forward to returning here. Thank you to a great host!! B

If you’re looking for a spacious home for a family vacation - this is it!!! The historic charm of the house is the cherry on top! The backyard oasis was loved by all ages and the massive hot tub was very relaxing! The checkin and checkout process was super easy and the hostess was quick to respond with any questions we had. We highly recommend this home and do plan on staying here again!!

1st all we wasn't able to get in when we arrived not happy about that. For the amount we paid i expect way better then what it showed the kitchen had roaches the refrigerator smelled bad the shower curtain need to be replaced also the bathtub drains was stopped up and random people showed up that we had no way know who they was to fix stuff and clean the pool which we should of been told about in advance he was just there when we return we have kids and the random man could of been hurt for doing a job we knew nothing about. I feel like we should be given compensation for all are inconvenient.

Ramona was a wonderful host. She helped with some special requests that made our stay perfect. The home is beautiful with a lot of history, and the backyard simply is an oasis. It was perfect for our little family reunion.. all the rooms were clean, it was a charming neighborhood, and the backyard was the perfect hangout spot. We would definitely rent again!
