'The room was great. Plenty of space and it was very clean and the bathroom was very clean as well. I really liked the space in the shower as I’m really tall and often in places in Italy it’s hard to shower. The host was extremely helpful regarding how to get around Palermo. You’re not very far from the train station nor are you very far from Quattro Canti where many restaurants are. I would love to stay at this property again.'

'Een heel fijn hotel, zeker voor de prijs. Alles is vrij nieuw en netjes, het personeel vriendelijk. Het ontbijtbuffet is heel uitgebreid en zeer goed van kwaliteit. Verder is het in Palermo geen luxe dat het hotel een uitstkende airco installatie heeft en ook dat was hier prima in orde. Enige minpuntje is de wifi die onbruikbaar is omdat de ontvangst de eigenschappen heeft van een knipperlicht.'

'This hotel has four stars, but in my opinion it would certainly deserve a fifth one. It's right in the historic centre, but located between a lovely quiet square and a narrow ancient street, which makes it a very quiet environment - an island of silence right in the middle of a very loud and busy city. Very friendly staff, cool classic and relatively spacious rooms, and of course the lounge (which looks like a medieval cloister) with a live pianist is breathtaking. On second thought - the hotel...

'Aquarooms heeft prachtige en schone kamers, ook het personeel was ontzettend behulpzaam. Het ontbijt was bij de meest aardige bakker om de hoek. De kamer lag aan een drukke straat, maar ik zelf had daar geen problemen mee.'

All amenities, very pleasant staff (you're not going to find someone who worked twenty years in the same hotel if you to any other chain), classy, friendly. A real gem. NOT for backpackers or the Ryanair crowd :-) The breakfast is really good, Italian, French and British style, with a real waiter doing the rounds.'
