'This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. 'Colton Loft was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one would wish, situated in a beautiful quiet village with the helpful host living just next door. The 3 local pubs Plum and Partridge, Carlton Inn and the Fauconberg were all very good. Exploring York was also easy with the use of the excellent Rawcliff Bar park and ride.'

'In a nice quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of York, with ample parking. This lovingly maintained townhouse was the perfect starting point for our city trip to York. A 15 minute walk by some fine architecture takes you to the heart of the city. Perfect for a family getaway. The connecting walls are a bit thin however, so you there is no ABSOLUTE silence when the neighbours are home.'
