'One of the best stays during our 3 week trip in Ecuador. Maybe the best overall. Modern and luxeous lodge in a gorgeous, peaceful landscape with a beautiful view on the forested mountains. 'Beautiful rooms in the woods with many opportunities for walking and seeing birds. But regarding service and breakfast not what you would expect of this type of hotel. Breakfast is basic. Staff are friendly and doing their job. Missed a more personal or famial approach. Staff member told us to be at the entrance of the hotel at 5.50 in the morning to watch birds with him, but did not show up.'

'this is for the adventerous, dont get scare on the way there the roads are a little rough due to the hotel still being developed. Chef Marcelo is a plus for this hotel and Sol as well. The entire staff is extremely friendly and helpful.'
