Rustige prive-woning op de Yellowstone River

Dit smaakvol ingerichte lodge-ogende decor, YELLOWSTONE RIVERVIEW RETREAT, ligt slechts 3 mijl ten noorden van de oorspronkelijke ingang van Yellowstone National Park in Gardiner, Montana. Riverview Retreat is de perfecte plek om te vissen op de Yellowstone-rivier, want de Yellowstone-rivier stroomt door de achtertuin, ook geweldig voor fotografen, natuurliefhebbers, bruiloften, of gewoon zittend aan de oevers van de Yellowstone-rivier en geniet van de rust van de rivier en Yellowstone park aan de overkant.

Dit huis ligt op drie hectare, omgeven door veel volwassen bomen, een enorme tuin met een achtertuin die privé is, de achtertuin heeft een overdekt prieel met stenen open haard en een terras over de oevers van de Yellowstone River, ook appel en kers bomen. Het huis is een 2 slaapkamer met een kingsize bed in de master kamer, queensize bed en een stapelbed met een stapelbed een volledige en bovenste stapelbed een single. 1 complete badkamer met douche en 2 wastafels met handicap bars in bad en op toliet. 1 1/2 badkamer met een toilet en wastafel bij de achterdeur gemakkelijk te bereiken vanaf de buitenkant. Grote woonkamer met 54 inch tv met satelliet. Eetkamer tafel zit 8 en een aanrechtbalk die 3 zit. De keuken is volledig gevuld met alle voorzieningen, koffie, thee, suiker, kruiden, bloem, ketchup en nog veel meer. Ik heb ook tp op voorraad, alle zepen behalve haar. Wasmachine en droger met zeep. En draag spray om mee te nemen tijdens het wandelen. De achtertuin heeft een terras met tafel en stoelen met barbecue direct naast de achterdeur. De grote achtertuin is groot genoeg om te voetballen en het leukste is het tuinhuisje met dek over de rivier. We hebben ook een betonnen dansvloer naast het prieel gebouwd voor bruiloften. Dit huis is een zeer comfortabel huis en ligt ver genoeg buiten de stad om niet al het lawaai te horen, maar toch dichtbij genoeg als je moet rennen om wat voorraden te krijgen.

Op verschillende tijdstippen van het jaar ziet u mogelijk verschillende dieren in de tuin, zoals muilezelherten, elanden, grizzlyberen en zwarte beren en buffels.

We stayed 3 nights and could easily have stayed longer. The home is comfortable in every way. Comfortable beds, very clean, comfortable couches, well stocked, great water pressure, peaceful setting. Of course, the backyard and river view is priceless. One evening 11 elks joined us. Very fun to watch. The owner graciously reached out to let us know a black bear was spotted on the yard so we’d be in the lookout. We did not see a bear, but would have been fun to observe. We used the house as a home base for Paradise Valley and the eastern part of the Park. We first rented a cabin at the Northeast Entrance so used that as a base for the Lamar Valley and Beartooth Highway. The stays were complimentary. We enjoyed both immensely. Highly recommend.

Awesome house and host! Very comfortable and pleasant home. Very well equipped including unexpected extras such as folding chairs and ice chest to take into the park. Quiet and beautiful location. We loved our stay here! The house was clean, cozy, and well-stocked. Sandy stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed. There’s even a basketball hoop out front that our youngest son enjoyed. Elk love it here too. The deck overlooking the River was so peaceful! Beds were comfy - and it was nice to have the second half-bath. Close to Gardiner and the north entrance to Yellowstone. Loved it here! Also, we didn’t use them but you should know they even had a cooler, fishing poles, and camping chairs for use. So great.P.S. Only suggestion would be to update the outdoor & living room furniture :)

We had an awesome stay at this home. I think it is now one of my favorite places in the world. We stayed for a week with our family of five. It fit us perfectly and was a great base for spending days in Yellowstone. The house was quiet and we enjoyed watching elk and owls. I spend a little bit of everyday enjoying the river. I could sit right on the shore and take in the river and mountains. The home included a lot of basics; which was amazing since we flew in and didn’t have room to bring some other things we normally would when staying at a rental. The host was phenomenal at answering questions and checking in on us to make sure everything was up to par. I would definitely recommend this home for your stay.

Wonderful property and superb location. On the bank of the Yellowstone River and park property was directly across the river with a great view of 11,000’ high Electric Peak. Five minutes to the north entrance of Yellowstone NP with none of the congestion of West Yellowstone.

Beautiful property with a great view every morning!!! Close to Yellowstone and close to town. If you are looking to escape from your phone this is the place to go. Didn’t want to leave. Owner is very nice stayed in contact with us. We had no issues with anything. Got my wife and me thinking about moving up to Montana!!! I probably should have let my wife upload her photos onto here. I didn’t take as many photos as she did lol!!!

Great Stay in Gardiner

Sandy’s home is the perfect location for exploring Yellowstone National Park! With its close proximity the home is an oasis from the hustle and bustle of the park. The backyard overlooking the water was one of our favorites to start and end our day and Sandy made sure the home was well stocked with all of the essentials. The fans in the bedrooms were great and the A/C unit in the living room cooled down the house during the hottest part of the days as we staying in June. Would recommend and stay again in the future.

Not a more beautiful, peaceful place; not a more friendly host.

We needed a base camp for our family of sibling adults taking a photo expedition in Yellowstone. Sandy's place couldn't have been more perfect. It is clean and well-cared for, beautiful, and peaceful. We loved the gazebo on the river's edge. We enjoyed the elk that came and grazed in the yard. Sandy is so accommodating and friendly. She gives Montanans a great reputation. We will stay again.
Plenty of parking on the front of this massive property. The neighbors are not really visible with lots of trees surrounding the acreage.
The large backyard gives a great view across the Yellowstone River into Yellowstone Park and the majestic wilderness mountains.
