Geweldig Hotel met Top-Service, Helaas zijn de kamers wat outdated en niet echt comfrortabel (geen lekkere stoel in kamer en ook niet op terras) en dat verwacht je wel in een hotel van deze categorie. WIFI kan veel beter, je blijft inloggen! Ontbijt erg goed, restaurants eveneens. Ligging van het hotel adembenemend. Service is geweldig. Neem geen standard kamer (aan drukke weg) maar een hogere prijsklasse met zicht op het meer, is zijn geld meer dan waard!

Phenomenal resort, the only observation is that they should consider replacing the grass on the lake side of the property with pebbles as it gets close to unwakable after it rains and with duck poop all over

The staff was terrific; property nice and room/balcony overlooking the lake nice. The indoor spa area was relaxing and unique. Breakfast was a great start to each of the four days we were there. The only thing we didn't like was double the price for the weekend nights, but I suppose that's to be expected.

Excellent! Starting from the valet service parking my car to the water bottles and pasta we received at check-out. Beautiful scenery, forthcoming staff, great breakfast and very nicely maintained hotel. All was very great.

A very special hotel!!
What an excellent hotel!!! The service 1st class and the facilities to die for. The staff could not do enough for you especially the concierge and the bar and restaurant staff. I ate in the fish restaurant and the Michelin star one and they were both amazing!! This hotel is special and I will be returning again and again

If you are looking for a bit more quiet and replay luxurious Hotel without pretence, this is for you. The quality of the food at the restaurants could be a bit better though.

Einzigartige Lage, wunderschönes altes Gebäude komplett modernisiert (Luxusklasse), zuvorkommendes und freundliches Personal, das man schon seit Jahren kennt. Das Gourmet-Restaurant ist ein Vergnügen für Geniesser. Eigentlich sollte man solche Geheimtipps nicht verraten...

Beautiful Older Hotel in Beautiful Lake Garda
This is a very special older hotel. The outside grounds are incredablely beautiful and the hotel is situated right on Lake Garda. Although well maintaned, there are some limitations such as regulation of room temperature. It was almost November when we were there, but it was still very warm and it was very difficult to get a room that was not too hot for us. This could have been a result of an older system and the air conditioning had been turned off for the session.

This is a total joke they are arrogant the food quality is very low. On top of that they in princip charge almost double if you are two in the same room, the answer I got from the manager was that all hotels in the world does the same thing. It is clear that he has not visit any other hotels My experiance of hotels is from travelling is 40+ years around the world with average 100 nights a year. One person 210€ Two persons 395€ ie one breakfast is 185€ Stay Away

Semplicemente stupendo, nient’altro da aggiungere
Immerso in un parco bellissimo, un posto incantato. Non abbiamo mai avuto neanche voglia di uscire dall’albergo, da quanto grandi erano gli spazi esterni. La vista poi è mozzafiato. Insomma tutto perfetto!! Assolutamente da provare.

Very Dissapointed
Very dissapointing: We booked a lake view room, in this "first class" hotel, but it was a big mistake. The room wasn't even the standard of an average 3 star hotel. In fact, such room should not be allowed to be sold at this hotel. Very poor and lacking any character what so ever. Very disappointing. The bath room very small and poor equiped, no place to put your personal things, the bad was very hard, we did not sleep well.We asked for a better room but none were available. We submitted our comments to the staff, but they just explained that "hotel is old one and not all rooms have been renovated".. We don't recommande this hotel as you can find a lot of others 5 stars in this area, but IF YOU BOOK THIS HOTEL BOOK A RENATED ROOM only. Very disappointing for a return visit ,despite of a good restaurants, high quality food, nice outdoor areas. It was the worst 5 stars hotel we stayed, as we travel a lot around the world.

Big dissapointment
1. Service at restaurants and bar – The service was very poor. The waiters were young and looked like unprepared and unsupervised students working summer jobs. They clearly were not well trained and seemed lost with all the orders. One day they forgot our coffee, another day they spit wine all over the table while serving etc. By the way, in our stay there we were unable to have a single wine at the right temperature – which is basic! To make matters worse, we had a very unpleasant experience at the pool restaurant. The maître was very arrogant and unpolite. 2. Accommodations – The room was a separate chapter. The air-conditioning of our room (218) simply did not work and could not could down the room. Spending the summer nights there became a real nightmare. The shower was awful and did not release enough water for a decent shower. The room had no mirrors. I complained at the front desk and asked to speak to the manager, which was not there in the middle of the day. Despite of leaving a message, the manager never returned my request to a meeting.

Vi booket hotellet via hotels.com dette hadde hotellet ikke fått med seg og de var forundrert over at vi ankom på kvelden. Vi fikk da et bra rom og alt virket veldig bra, men utpå dagen etter fikk vi beskjed om at vi var kastet ut av rommet vi hadde fått og tingene våre var blitt lempet over til et annet rom med utsikt til hotelets søppel-containere. Så hvis man booker via hotels.com så er man åpenbart en annerangs kunde rommet vi først fikk skulle brukes til andre og åpenbart viktigere kunde. WIFI faller over store deler av hotellet til stadighet bort så det er veldig ustabilt og i tillegg veldig tregt. Mye av gleden ved oppholdet ble ødelagt av at vi ble kastet ut og at de hadde pakket sammen at vi eide uten vår viten eller samtykke så alt i alt ble dette et dyrt opphold når man sitter igjen med en sånn negativ opplevelse. Dette er ikke et 5 stjerners hotell verdig.

A luxurious hotel on Lake Garda
We did not know what to expect until we drove up to this magnificent hotel in the grand style. From the first encounter with the doorman, the amenable and helpful front desk, the amazing servers in the first class restaurant and the person who cleaned our room, we were made to feel special. We especially enjoyed learning the history of the hotel which dated back decades. Although we could have remained in our room enjoying the view, there were fascinating places within walking distance: the Botanical gardens and the house of the poet d'Allesio. We will definitely return and stay longer.

Honestly thought the hotel was perfect, my only complaint - you can get a omelette for free at breakfast but if you want to add a topping it's 6 euros extra. I thought that was shocking really as you'd be paying 6 euros for some cheese or mushrooms. Other than that. Amazing
