Hotel Du Lac Gardone Riviera - well worth a visit!
Beautiful location. Can catch boat to view lake from there. Friendly staff, even called around 6pm to check everything okay, as we hadn't arrived yet. Room cleaned daily. Shower and toilet on the small side. Good choice of breakfast, however evening meal was a let down; not much choice, small portions and not much gluten free food. On the whole though, a most enjoyable experience. Beware though, there is more than one Hotel Du Lac on the Lake and, due to the Hotel being in a pedestrian area, usually dropped off and picked up outside the next hotel, The Grand Hotel.

Fancy hotel
We stayed at the Du Lac hotel for three nights and were happy with our stay. The hotel is nicely and centrally located, the rooms are spacious and clean, service at the hotel was always kind and the breakfast was really good. Also the outside terrace by the lake was tempting. Parking could be found quite close by, and the guests could enjoy the pool and a small beach close by. The village itself is rather small but adorable so for those wishing a bit more "action" maybe other locations by the lake could be more suitable - for us this was a good start to touring around the lake.

Fabulous Stay
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel du Lac. The hotel is lovely and in a perfect location next to the boat dock. There are many nice restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walking distance. The rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable with great air conditioning. We treated ourselves to a room with a terrace which is totally worth it. Sitting outside in the evening overlooking the lake was the perfect ending to each day. The owners and staff at the hotel are exceptional - very caring, helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome. The breakfast buffet was top notch with many hot and cold choices and the food was delicious. We enjoyed being able to sit outside next to the lake while eating breakfast. An added plus is that free access to the nearby Lido (5 minute walk) is included in the room rate. The lido has a nice pool, sun chairs w/umbrellas, great restaurant and access to the lake for swimming.We loved staying at Hotel du Lac and highly recommend this hotel. It truly is a gem. We look forward to returning here in the future. Gardone Riviera is a charming place to stay on Lake Garda. It is not touristy nor as crowded as some of the other towns on the lake. All in all, Hotel Du Lac is a 10/10 in our book.

Pariskuntamatka garda-järvelle
Hotelli hiljaisemmassa kylässä, mutta ravintoloita on kiitettävästi. Sijainti lähes satamalaiturin vieressä, joten vesibussilla saapuminen sujuu todella helposti. Vesibussilla myös helppo käydä katsomassa muita garda-järven kaupunkeja. Viereisestä Salon kaupungista/kylästä löytyy jo huomattavasti enemmän kauppoja ym. Aktiviteetteja. Matka vesibussilla noin 10 min. Meillä oli erittäin tilava kulmahuone, jossa hieno näkymä ja parveke järvelle päin. Huone ja koko hotelli oli erittäin siisti.

We were delighted with our stay at Hotel du Lac. The property is perfectly located at the shores of Lake Garda. Although we forgot to book the garage in advance, we had luck and the Hotel still had an empty one for which we payed 10€/night. We had a Double Room with Lake view and the room was very clean and nice, but just a bit too small (but this did not bother us). The staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel’s restaurant offers very delicious food. Next time we’ll visit Lake Garda, we’ll book again a room at Hotel du Lac.

The Hotel Du Lac & staff did everything they could to make this short break an amazing experience & the added bonus of 20% off on food & drink & other items was also a big gesture to help with the holiday. we would like to thank the owners & staff for there friendlyness & help on anything we asked or needed. The Gluten free options for the restaurant were there, although limited but understandable.
