'The most helpful and kid host and staff. Giovanna went above and beyond communicating and making great suggestions for my stay. The location is excellent, very near the station if you plan to use this as your base station to visit Cinque Terre and surroundings. Restaurants, souvenir stores, pharmacy and supermarkets are very near, within 5-6 minutes from the apartment. Even though the place itself is a bit outdated, the bed and pillows were so comfortable. 'La Lanterna is a modern 3* hotel located on the outskirts of Castelnuovo, about a 15 min walk from the town centre. It has a good public restaurant, a separate breakfast room and a swimming pool. Rooms are spacious and comfortable…my bathroom had a whirlpool bath. The staff were friendly and the food good.
