With 4 adults and three children, we had plenty of room to move and enjoy the views from the upper and lower decks. Lots of seating throughout the house. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable, and very clean. It was over 100 degrees during the day and the air conditioner was able to keep up...which was a relief!
There is not a lot of supplies to welcome guests. Would have liked to have some coffee available to start off the trip, and maybe even a bag of charcoal for the grill, that would have been a really nice gesture. I have rented other houses on the lake, and these were standard supplies. So guests, plan on bringing ALL supplies in as you are at least 40 minutes from a grocery store, either in Rogers or Eureka Springs.
The lake is easy to get to through a wooded path. However the beach is rocky and not ideal for swimming. We would suggest heading to the marina and renting a boat if you do not have your own. By the way, parking a boat at the house is not recommended, steep climbs.
Overall, really enjoyed our stay at the Fox Den. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
