Vriendelijke mensen, goed ontbijt, goede locatie
Vriendelijk personeel, goede locatie (centrum en station op loopafstand) en de kamer was schoon en netjes. Ontbijt goed geregeld! Het internet werkte zeer slecht, daar had de eigenaar ook last van, was een probleem van de provider, dat verklaart waarom meerdere hotels in de buurt een slechte beoordeling krijgen over het internet. De eigenaar was hierover net zo gefrustreerd als ik. Een minpunt van het hotel is de gehorigheid. De kamer was erg gehorig en is een verbeterpunt.

Nice stay, spacious room, clean, quiet, nice people, a block or 2 from the train & Zugspitz lift. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Recommend over any other place we have stayed in the Garmish area.

It is with great sadness that we have to report the worst treatment we have ever had in our 20 years of traveling, the last 10 as Expedia VIP Gold members. We booked a day earlier at Hotel Garni Brunnthaler than intended and attempted for 24 hours beforehand to remedy this with the extremely helpful assistance of the Expedia agents. We finally got through to reception (which inexplicably closed the night before) and was told that all is order and that they will make the adjustment when we come through. We drove for 3 hours straight across Bavaria to be told on arrival that they have changed their minds. Not only did we now forfeit the first night we now owed them even more if we wanted to stay. We expressed our dismay at this and reception started shouting at us in German knowing full well that we are English speaking. The shouting got so bad we had to walk away until the husband of the receptionist came and mansplained to us that it was our ‘tough luck’. We decided to overnight (we had already paid). Still traumatized and very upset we left first thing the next morning. What a terrible experience!

Dear Hermanus,unfortunalety we reconized some misinformation in your feedback which we have to correct. First of all you booked last minute at 9pm. for the same day. According to our telephone records, someone tried to call us at 11pm. That is long after our working hours. Before we close our reception at 9:30 pm we even tried to contact you by phone and we sent you details and instructions for late arrival over expedia messages without recieving any response from you.As you arrived the next day you informed us that you booked the wrong dates and demanded to change your reservation mistake free of charge in a very arrogant and unfriendly manner. Your Expedia VIP Gold membership doesnt entitle you to change your booking dates as you wish and this free of charge. When you dont arrive on your booked date, this is a no show for us and we are entitled to charge you for the night. Second of all, we would never allow ourselves to shout at guests and our English is good enough to communicate so we dont have to use German. We kindly asked you to wait in our lobby until the owner comes, so we can attend the other guests who were waiting to check in. We can proudly say that our staff friendliness is explicitly mentioned in almost all our reviews. We hope that you book the correct dates for your next trip so you dont get traumatized and upset again.

Very nice property and staff; they even went above and beyond by advising us the sunroof in our rental car was open and rain was expected. They were sooo correct; it poured. We would have been trying to explain the pool inside the rental car if not for the hotel staff looking out for us.

Die Lage ist super, nahe zum Zentrum und nur 200 m von der Zugspitzbahn. Das Zimmer und Frühstücken waren gut, so wie ich mir es wünsche. Die Inhaber lieben ihren Beruf und sind perfekte Gastgeber, das springt auf die Angestellter über.

Ein sehr freundlicher Empfang und Verabschiedung, sauberes Bad und Zimmer, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, Gast ist wirklich König. Lage ist ruhig, Frühstück entsprach meinen Erwartungen. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen.

Skiing trip. Hotel location is good. At night, it was noisy due to other guests coming back late and doors insufficiently sealing. Dated interiors but very nice staff, good sauna.

Comfortable boutique hotel in G-P. Easy access to sights in the Bavarian Alps. Good size rooms. Parking a little tight, but they have an underground garage. Henri, the owner, is a great host. Was very helpful with guiding us to sights.

Wonderful hotel surrounded by mountains
The hotel was in an excellent location with a short walk into town for the restaurants and shops. The breakfast was very tasty and offered something for everyone. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I can’t wait to return next year!

駅の地下道を通って正面の反対側に行き、数分歩くと着きます。しかも、その間にツークシュピッツェ鉄道駅もあるので、ロケーションは最高です。すぐ近くにはスーパーもあります。家族経営っぽい飾りのないホテルです。ただ、3階の客室は傾斜した屋根のせいか、天窓しかないので周囲の景色は見えません。朝食は7時半と遅めです。

Very nice small quiet place with a great view of the Alps. My girlfriend and I stayed here 2 nights. Very walkable to shops and food. 5 minute walk to train station. Great breakfast and extremely kind workers

Frühstücksraum schön eingerichtet.Dame vom Service sehr nett.Zimmer sind hellhörig.Unser Bad war älter und die Badewanne zum duschen sehr unbequem.Reinigung des Zimmers war ungenügend.Für einen Kurzurlaub geeignet.

Pleasant hotel near the heart of Garmisch
Very pleasant hotel with wonderful staff. A bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of cold water were waiting for me in my room, which was clean and spacious. The property is nicely maintained, and the breakfast room had plenty of tables. Relaxing on my balcony in late afternoon with a book and a view of the mountains was fantastic. I would stay here again.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our room had a nice patio area. The room was fairly large for the low cost. The hotel is easy walking distance to both the train station and the restaurant/tourist area. I'm guessing this is a more traditional hotel, since we got a physical key instead of a key card, and we had to ring the doorbell to get in initially. I'm not sure if there was an elevator. The checkout time was a bit early - 10:30 - but they didn't mind keeping our bags for most of the day.

Ski fahren in Garmisch
Wer in Garmisch Ski laufen möchte, denkt natürlich an die Zugspitze und den Hausberg. Leider nicht zu empfehlen, Skibus fährt nur alle 20 Minuten und ist zum Teil so voll, dass man nicht mit genommen wird. Viele Tagestouristen aus München kommen hinzu. Zur Zugspitze selbst braucht es 1,5 Std. (hin- und zurück 3 Std.) mit der Zahnradbahn (die allerdings sehr praktisch ist). GP hat schon fast Großstadtcharakter. Ein gemütlicher Skiurlaub sieht anders aus.

Schöner Aufenthalt
Das Personal war sehr nett, gemütliche, freundliche Atmosphäre. Gutes Frühstück, alles sauber angerichtet, es hätte sogar glutenfreies gegeben, hatte aber meine eigenen Sachen dabei. 5 Minuten Gehzeit zum Kongresshaus und zum Bahnhof.

Comfortable small hotel with convenient location
I stayed here for four nights. The (single) room was small but comfortable, and the wifi was fast and stable. The breakfast was excellent and the hotel staff were helpful. The hotel is close (5-10 minute walk) to both the train station and the center of town. One note: they do not have someone at the check-in desk 24 hours/day, so if you need to leave early in the morning, it's probably a good idea to settle the bill the night before - I had to leave at 6.30am to catch a train, and fortunately one of the staff was awake and could handle the checkout, but I think if I'd been half an hour earlier it might have been a problem.
