'Not sure how old this place is but it's fantastic to have the opportunity to stay here in a place that must have seen so much history.
Montgomery itself is a gem - declaring an interest I grew up a few miles away and am fairly familiar with "Monty" - and though this visit is a wedding crashpad, we'll definitely take the opportunity to bumble around after we check out.
Bottom line? Stay here, you won't regret it in the slightest. '
'We had a wonderful stay at The Dolfor Inn. The room was just beautiful, packed with original features and the bed was super comfortable. We had an evening meal and breakfast the following morning which were both absolutely delicious. Our hosts were fantastic company and obviously love what they do with the attention to detail and service. We had a lovely drink with them Friday night, lots of laughs and great company. 'A very informal AirBNB in enormous family home. Hosts were very friendly, informal and keen to help. Full Breakfast was fabulous - I haven't seen a Hostess Trolley since 1983 and the croissant and granola yoghurt were lovely! Bed was very cosy and view from window stunning. Short walk or drive up to the rocks. On the negative side, en suite shower/loo/sink is very small and some of its finishes could be quite a bit better. Renovation is obviously still a work in progress, especially outside....
