'From the moment we booked the host was available and answered questions. The home is clean, beautiful and you can not beat the amazing view. Our family really enjoyed our time. There is a three bear grocery store, burger resturant and coffee shed, very close by. Hatchers Pass was a close as well. We have nothing but fond memories of our time shared at the Chalet, so grateful!'

'It was a great place to stay north of Anchorage. Easy to get back into town and the airport and also a good launch point for things north of town like Talkeetna. It was great to have 4 bedrooms with en suites. Plenty of room for large groups. '

'We booked this property for the second year in a row with our church youth group. It was perfect the first year, this year we ended up staying in their property up the road that was much larger. We LOVED it! It was the perfect size and layout for our group to sleep comfortably and to hang out comfortably. The views are amazing and the property outside was also amazing. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. We definitely want to book this for 2025 conference. '

'This place was an amazing oasis of peace and tranquility. I appreciated all of the communication from the owners and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick or long get away. Conveniently located just a few turns from the Parks highway, it was easy to call this place our home base. Loads of bird viewing right from the lakeshore behind the house. 'Staying at this trailer was the highlight of our whole Alaska trip. Big Lake is stunning and this property is tucked away. The hosts are close and kind - offering true hosting of the area. The stay is glamping without having to travel with a ton of camping gear. In hindsight, we would have stayed longer. '
