Both places were just as you see in the pictures on the website maybe even better. They were awesome, clean and in a quiet location but not far from all sorts of activities. Serenity Lodge was so spacious with lots of additions like the rec room, hot tub, and cinema area. All the bedrooms were wonderful with queen or larger beds. The place was just beautiful. I would certainly recommend the Serenity Lodge to any family or group. The Customer Service was the best and they made sure we were taken care of.

We did have to purchase a baby gate to help keep toddler in the area we wanted ,there are a lot of stairs ,there was no high chair or pack n play provided like some of the other cabins in the area . This cabin is really for older kids,but other than that we loved it . Clean and well taken care of cabin . Easy drive to either Gatlinburg or Dollywood.

The jack and Jill bathroom toilet door was a little to close to the toilet for our liking but it worked. They had a pool table, air hockey and a video game machine. The wrap around porch was great and the rocking chairs were a hit. We thought we would have a view of the mountains but all we saw were trees. A few of our group used the hot tub but the weather that time of year was just to hot and humid for most of us to get in. Customer service was very responsive and helpful. If you are arriving after dark the names on the cottages should be highlighted with lights to make finding your home easier. Over all the cabin was great for out 8 adults and child. .

Great Cabin- NEEDS CLEANING -LOOSE RAILING ON THIRD DECK

But there was cleanliness issues, layers of dust on curtains over sink and elsewhere you could tell it hadn’t been properly dusted in a long time. . , toilets were dirty, couple of Bed sheets had what looked to be pet hair and another had long hair and stains. Trash under bed. We were unable to use hot tub due to not being cleaned properly , it smelled sour and had white film. Ceiling leaking in several places. PICKETS loose and push away from railing on third deck where hot tub is , very hazardous. The kitchen is not very well stocked. For the amount of money guests pay, these things should not be an issue. We stay every year in different cabins and I have never had these amount of problems. We have even used Elk Springs resort in the past and have been very satisfied.

Overall, the facility was not cleaned to a good standard. outside deck areas full of spider webs. Windows needed to be cleaned desparately.

Reviewer Comments: it was really nice and relaxing ....very complaints there however my daughter lost her visa card while there and someone from the lodge text me to ask if we left the card ...I advised "yes" and they said there would send it back....well I came to find out the next week over someone there in Tennessee tried to use the card at a Walmart my daughter had to cancel the card. For that I can not give any stars but overall we were pleased.

Check in process delayed about 2.5hours unable to get house code sent. Finally got response from management office. The house needs to be cleaned all light fixtures dusty, grease/ grime on top of microwave and refrigerator. All the decorations sitting throughout house very dusty, artificial plants look like they are growing hair from all the accumulated dust. Furniture is very worn , seating in great room and beds uncomfortable and squeaky. The porches need to be pressure washed, a lot of dust and spider webs. All bedding is old and discolored. House not well stocked, two towels for each bathroom, no extras. Linen closet is bare. Shower curtains in bathrooms with mildew, need replacements. Again the location is beautiful, but I definitely would not rent this one again. We were visiting as a family and rented this house, one of many rented by our family on this resort. Very disappointed, no common areas to gather, no community pool or outdoor park, for this to be called a resort. Not!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a fairly nice cabin. There were no pics of the bathrooms or washer & dryer on the website, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. The bathrooms were ok, just a bit tight. There’s a stackable washer/dryer. The 1st day I thought there was a leak under the kitchen sink because there were plastic bags just thrown under it that were wet. So I called maintenance & the came out right away. No leak. The biggest issue we had was the fridge. Ice dispenser wasn’t working & it started making a loud noise. So I called maintenance & they fixed the noise. Then like the next night, there was a drip in the downstairs bedroom so I called maintenance about 1:30 am. They didn't get back with me until around 9:00 & said someone would be there close to 1:24. We waited an hour, but we had to leave. They came out while we were gone & said they didn’t find anything. Anyway, it leaked again that night, which was our last night. I let them know when I checked out. Hopefully they got it fixed. Oh, the place was fairly clean, except the floors.
