Cozy cabin in Cobbly Nob

Quiet cabin with community pools, minutes from the beautiful par 72 course at Bent Creek Golf Village. Look no further to find your quite escape from the hustle and bustle and just minutes from the all action. If you’re a golfer, you’re going to love it in Cobbly Nob. At the foot of Cobbly Nob Resort is Bent Creek Golf Course, designed by three-time Masters and British Open Championship Winner, Gary Player. It is a par 72 course that opened in 1972. The front nine hugs the valley floor while the back nine offers a challenging mountain course. A beautiful sparkling mountain stream meanders throughout the entire course making for a breathtaking contrast between water and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Southern Living Travel Guide rated Bent Creek Golf Course in Gatlinburg, TN one of the “Top Fifty Golf Courses in the South”.

"The Old Bay Cabin" has 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, and floor to ceiling windows to enjoy the mountain views. Amenities include a fireplace in the living room, wifi throughout if you need to stay connected, hut tub on the deck with a beautiful mountain view.

we were on a trip from Illinois to look at the views of the smoky mountains and complete a couple other activities. The views from the balcony did not disappoint, especially in the morning with a cup of coffee! The cabin was equipped with just about everything you needed to have a comfortable stay. The beds were especially comfortable! We’re already planning our trip back in the fall! Thank you for a great stay!

Check in/access details were ready and available in plenty of time! The Cabin was spacious and beautiful inside and out! It was a perfect getaway for our 10 year anniversary! The host was quick and responsive when any help was needed. Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville were a short scenic drive away! The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our stay. With a full bath and king-size bed in the upstairs bedroom, we had plenty of privacy when we wanted it. Having previously stayed in the Cobbly Nob area, when we saw multiple bears and cubs, we were not surprised to see a bear one evening. We watched him from the balcony/deck as he slowly made his way down the road across the driveway, through the yard, and then continued down the mountain, as if he didn’t have a care in the world. This was our daughter‘s first time to see a bear up close so she was especially excited. I highly recommend staying in the Cobbly Nob area, especially if you want to see bears. We saw bears previously in May and now at the end of August in this area. As with any Gatlinburg cabin, the roads can be a little steep, but nothing our Ford Explorer couldn’t handle in regular drive mode. The roads in the Cobbly Nob area are much easier to travel than some of the other roads we’ve been on in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area.

Great vacation stay

Had a great time at Old Bay Cabin. Home is very clean and quiet. It is located outside Gatlinburg outskirts, so you are away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for shopping. Rebecca is a great hostess. Spotted 6 bears outside the cabin, 2 laid down in the yard. Definitely recommend this rental and will be back again.

Missing guest book. Would have loved to have left the review for our stay. Rebecca was great. No issues at all. It was quiet it was peaceful but the the cabin is on a front 3 way road an there can be a lot of traffic at times but nothing u can't deal with. If the owner can put up something like an exterior sun shade for privacy that would be nice. We will be back.

Absolutely perfect!

Pictures did not do this vacation home justice! Absolutely beautiful from the outside,in! Bed was super comfy! We had no issues with water pressure. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and then some. Saw bear twice in our 4 day stay in front yard. Just far enough our from Gatlinburg to be perfectly peaceful and private due to the trees and space between other cabins. Roads were in great condition blacktop and driveway plenty big for a few cars if needed. Hot tub was clean and perfect. The best view of the mountains arw from the top floor of course and it was set up as another master with bathroom right off it. We didn't use this space but we just ma bring another couple next time due to the spacious accommodations. Restaurants are close as well. Trish's for breakfast right down the road and Alamo for the BEST steak or crab stuffed shrimp dinner at reasonable prices. LOVED OUR STAY!
