  • Veel bezoekers willen dicht bij de actie in het centrum van Gatlinburg zijn en willen niet noodzakelijkerwijs zoveel uitgeven of alles nodig hebben dat een hut te bieden heeft. Maar dat betekent niet dat u in een hotelkamer moet blijven en alle voordelen van een vakantiewoning moet verliezen. Bij Gatehouse 106 heeft u een open haard, een terras, een grote zithoek, een volledige keuken om maaltijden te bereiden en toegang tot een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad. Wat nog belangrijker is, Gatehouse is het meest recent ontwikkelde flatgebouw op loopafstand van het centrum. Het is een nieuwer gebouw dat privé, goed onderhouden en stil is. dus je hebt alle gemakken om in Gatlinburg te zijn in een nieuwere eenheid voor de prijs van een hut!

    U zult genieten van een gashaard, opgewaardeerde keuken, zitplaatsen voor 6 in de grote kamer en 2 prive master suites met 2 volledige baden en opgewaardeerd beddengoed. Misschien wilt u ontspannen op het terras aan de beek of misschien gebruik maken van het seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad en de spa.

The building, unit and locations is what brings us back. The unit could use some TLC. New mattresses, fix the screen on the patio door and a new master bath sink faucet (drips a lot). Fall Getaway

The layout of the unit is awesome, the view from the patio spectacular, and the location incredible. However updates are needed. The carpets are worn and spotted, some of the tiles are cracked and broken, the ice maker did not work, and the sinks in the bathrooms did not drain well. We still had a great time and would consider coming back.

Very nice open floor plan on the inside, great bedrooms and the view from the patio was great. Its a bit of a walk to "downtown" (1.1 miles),,, the thing to remember though,, its downhill on the way into town,, its uphill on your way back to the condo. All in all,, the rental company was super attentive, checked on us a couple of times,, the place was great,,, the location is awesome,, would stay here again.

Pros: Location; nicely landscaped, quiet and clean complex; spacious unit; comfy chairs on the balcony; nice view of the creek; great water pressure; convenient to grocery store; washer and dryer in unit; excellent communication from the unit’s property management company; and first floor unit close to the parking lot and enjoyable pool.Cons: the entire unit could use a thorough cleaning and painting; both bedspreads were stained; some of the towels were more gray than white; the jets in the en-suite tub were dirty; no grab bars on that tub/shower combo; and the carpet was stained.The cons were reported to the unit’s property management company and I felt the issues were taken seriously.We had a relaxing break and the location was convenient.

It is obviously dated, but who goes to Gatlinburg to stay inside. The kitchen has everything you need (who wants to cook while on vacation ?) If you’re looking for a place to have a cup of coffee in the morning and adult beverages at night this is the perfect place for you. It was for us!!

Two nice sized bedrooms. Functional kitchen and AC system was great. I liked the location as we could use backroads to Pigeon Forge or go down 1/2 mile to two Gatlinburg parking lots if going to town. Walking to Gatlinburg is not idea for most but note the easy access to parking lots.

I will say it is a bit dated and the mattresses need to be replaced with better quality. There was no extra toilet paper, only what was on the rolls and no extra towels provided. Those items would have been nice. If you have mobility issues, you will have difficulty getting in and out of the shower/tub combos.
