We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! First and foremost, the host was hands down the BEST we have ever experienced with VRBO! Communication was exceptional from start to finish. With Hurricane Isaias coming through, the host checked on the property before our arrival to make sure there were no power outages or downed trees and stayed in touch with us multiple times. They even offered to accommodate a later arrival and extend our stay if needed. Truly above and beyond!The cabin itself is beautiful, spacious, and incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It would easily accommodate a very large group, as there are beds everywhere! The pictures are an accurate representation of the property, which is always appreciated when booking a rental.The only minor drawbacks were the location and the firmness of the mattresses. The cabin is a little farther out, approximately 25 minutes from Gatlinburg and 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge, but that may actually be a plus for anyone wanting to escape the crowds. The beds were quite firm, although that's certainly understandable for a rental property.Overall, we had a fantastic experience! The property is beautiful, the accommodations are wonderful, and the hospitality was truly unmatched. We would 100% stay here again and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone, especially those traveling with a large group!

I can not describe how amazing our stay at Hideaway lodge was. To start our host was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The lodge was very spacious and the balcony was our favorite spot for coffee in the morning as we watched the local bears wandering bye. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything from dishes, crockpot, plenty of pots and pans to casserole dishes. Enough to prepare meals for a large group. The game room was a big hit for the grandchildren and adults. We love that we were secluded but still close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. This is definitely a great place to stay with small children. The bedrooms were large and 2 had twin beds in them. There are also nice cots in most closets for extra sleeping. All the bathrooms were large some toiletries provided. I will be recommending Hideaway lodge to all our family and friends. If you want a perfect Tennessee experience, book this lodge.
