Pigeon Forge is right down the road via the bypass in about 15-20 minutes. Don't feel like driving much? Take a very short drive to Ober Gatlinburg(less than 2 miles) and ride the scenic Aerial Tram into downtown Gatlinburg. The trams run every 20 minutes so you can return whenever you please.
