A great value place to stay near Gatwick, with parking option a short taxi ride to the terminals. Quiet, comfortable and friendly team. They kindly accommodated me when my return flight was delayed. I look forward to staying again !

Very poor standard accomodation, paid £92 for one night stopover after long haul. Room and property in general rather run down and dirty. Damp smell in room and mould on walls, electric shower very noisy when in use (room 2). Decided to put down to bad experience and booked Premier Inn at Gatwick Nth Terminal on Laterooms for £71, called an Uber and left.

Let me explain this with a little more truth. You had booked room 8 for an 11 am check in which we agreed to, you then arrived before 9am. Because you were not happy about waiting we put you in a room that was empty the previous night which I agree is not to our normal high standard. However I checked this morning and there is no mould anywhere. So what if the shower is noisy, if you are in it its not going to wake you, its the price paid for having a high flow, high pressure shower. No one has had a problem with this in the last 20 years. Lets face it, you were miserable, took the long haul flight out on us and would have had issues anywhere.

Lovely place
We stayed here the night before having to leave very early from Gatwick. Jon, the owner, was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had to be up and out earlier than their shuttle service to the airport, so he called us a car to come get us at 5 am.The room was lovely and clean. Wish we could have seen it during the day light to enjoy the back garden area.

Clean and comfortable
Just stayed one night and it was very clean and comfortable. I couldn't work the TV but I expect that it was "user error". I didn't ask for help as I was able to enjoy a good evening read! If I have an early pick-up from Gatwick again, I'll return.

Hi Simon, the TV was not user error so you are not to blame, it just decided it had had enough and died. Will be replaced today.

A quick stop over before flying out of gatwick. Place was clean and beds were very comfy. Owner couldnt have been more helpful and friendly. Room was plenty big for 2 adults 3 kids.

Good host..some minor issues with room.
Overnight stay just to get to the airport in the morning. John was very nice and gracious host..offered us tea and chatted with us a bit. Beautiful backyard and a lovely dog “Bella”..Jon also phoned the taxi for us. The room however had a smell from the bathroom..we had to ensure that the bathroom door was shut completely or the smell was Permeating into the room. The standing fan also helped with the smell. The carpets are sticky.

One night stay
Perfect location to reach Gatwick airport. The staff were very friendly and helpful, check-in was easy even though we arrived out of hours. The decor was a bit dated but we had everything we needed. The cooked breakfast was very good but you had to pay extra for it and book it in advance. We would stay again

Overnight stay
We had an unexpected flight cancellation and needed an overnight stay...Oakhurst was a very handy choice as very close to Airport 10min drive...We were made to feel right at home straight away by host and he really did look after us regards local information and airport transfers...I would Highly recommend staying here its Not Flash but has everything you need...

We loved staying at Oakhurst after an unexpected overnight layover. Close enough to the airport to walk. The host was very friendly. If I'm ever in the area again, I know where I will stay!

Quiet and charming
A very pleasant stay at a guesthouse very near to Gatwick. Comfortable bed, beautiful clean decor, and a nice rain shower. I loved meeting other guests in the lounge/dining area, and the tea and biscuits were a lovely treat. There was also a garden space to sit in. The free wifi worked well. Also, there was a kettle and tea, coffee and biscuits in my room. The host and his assistant provided excellent and friendly service. And it's obvious that they think about whatever a guest might need, even loaning me an outlet converter so all my gear was fully charged. They also provided a discounted trip to Gatwick, so i didn't have worry about arranging a taxi. Bella the German shepherd was so sweet. The stairs to the second floor are narrow and steep, although there are sturdy spindles to hold. If someone has mobility problems, they will want to check to see if a first floor room is suitable. The Parson's Pig pub is an easy 5 minute walk, and I went for lunch and dinner. I'll need another several visits to work my way through all the options they offered - both regular pub fare, and a huge selection of various Indian cuisines. The food was delicious.

Great little B&B. We stayed for one night after arriving at Gatwick. The resort is quiet. There a a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in the family room, it was quite large with a double bed, single bed and bunk beds. We had a early start so were not able to try the breakfast.
