"Free parking and easy access to the hotel are definite pluses. The room was clean and check-out was smooth. But the overall condition of the room was poor – the triple room felt very cramped, with worn-out fittings, a broken shower holder, and no hot water in the tap in the morning."

"Kamers zijn op zich in orde, maar het is een oud gebouw. De maaltijd die ik had besteld was op zich ok, maar het vlees was taai en niet te kauwen. Het ontbijt was echt zeer mager. Ik heb niet veel op, want er was gewoon amper keuze. Personeel was wel erg vriendelijk. Kamer was schoon. Badkamer had wel wat plekjes waar niet zo vaak werd gepoetst in de hoeken. ""3 times a charm". After changing the room twice, the 3rd room (all rooms look exactly the same) was finally a comfort. We chose this hotel because of the name "Bay of St. Mont Michel" and also the fact that they had airconditioning. Our first view was of the Formule 1 hotel, which is managed by Ibis as well and that for half the price. We asked if there was a room without the view of the Formule 1 hotel and they switched us to the otherside, with a bit of a nicer view. No worries, we were only staying one night, so we were happy that they were friendly enough to accomidate us. But in that second room, the airconditioning was not working. They offered us a fan, which we reclined because we chose the hotel for the airconditioning. We finally got a room where everything was nice and comfortable. The bed was great!! The rooms were silent and the breakfast was wonderful!! So, if you're just traveling through, this hotel is fine. If you're staying longer, for example, to visit St. Mont Michel and area, the city center of Avranche is a wonderful place to stay and the people are so friendly!!"

"We came on the night and stayed untill the morning so it might not be fair, but it looked good. Personel was realy friendly, room was clean (something smelt like wet washings), parking and a nice bakery as neighbour."
