'Pool was down, but we didn't care and had no plans to use it. The room was a vast improvement over the last hotel we had been staying at, and was clean. Breakfast was simple and good, the staff was helpful and chill. Only complaint was that the shower was cold, like room temperature at most.'

One member of our party works in pest control and confirmed the issue immediately. I reported this to the front desk and requested someone come inspect the room, but staff refused.
