Great Little Getaway
Very cute house and perfect for a family vacation to the beach. The neighborhood is quiet and easy to walk around. Close to downtown and a quick drive to seaside. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute place in a great location
The place was adorable and in a cute neighborhood. Easy walk to the beach and quick drive to Seaside. The owners were accommodating and very friendly. However, the beds were a bit uncomfortable and so was the couch in the living room. The floors were dirty and sticky, wine down cabinets, coffee splatter on cabinets, dirty/sticky handles on drawers in kitchen, there were cobwebs inside, dead bugs on most windowsills, missing hand soap in bathroom, and watered down hand soap in kitchen. May need to look into a new house cleaner. Also, thought it was strange to have to be in charge of wheeling the trash cans to the street. This was a first and we have rented several houses/cabins over the years.

super cute house on the coast!
The house was nicely decorated and comfortable, and an adorable walk through wavy grass to Gearhart Beach! House is pretty big inside! Two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs. Master suite bath is small. Kitchen is great! Eating and sitting areas great as well! Owner supplies A LOT of essentials like towels bedding cooking utensils etc toys games body wash shampoo etc. House was very clean, but imo could have been deep cleaned more thoroughly. Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic relaxing stay at the beautiful beach adjacent home in safe friendly neighborhood. We cooked and grated without exception the mentors met our needs. Kitchen table could seat 8 and we tended to fires every evening. It was a great stay that we will repeat!

Lovely well outfitted home. Bring your own wood to make a cozy fire. Enjoy cooking family meals in the great kitchen. Cookware pots are a bit scratched but everything else was excellent. We played boardgames during the storms and then went to the beach between downpours.

Wonderful Getaway
Perfect for our two day getaway, beautiful home and peaceful neighborhood, lovely walk to the beach. Enjoyed the fire place, great kitchen for preparing family meals and packing food for day adventures to nearby Oregon coastal hiking and scenery. Highly recommend!

Didn't like the ant infestation in the kids room. Disappointed with the cleanliness, the house needed a better surface wiping and floor vacuuming. We swept the floor on fist arrival, and also disinfected the high touch surfaces. The bedrooms need better vacuuming, as the ants were eating cookies under the kids bunk bed. 2nd floor bedroom had trash and leftover clothing under the beds. We left the house cleaner than it was when we arrived. Disappointed by inaccurate grill description. Expected a gas grill. Found a rusty charcoal grill, filled with old ash. All above disappointments could easily be addressed by a good property manager! The WiFi wasn't working at first, unplugged/replugged the power and it worked. Liked the newness of remodel. The restrooms were nicely made. The kitchen is open and welcoming. The walk to the beach is reasonable with kids. The Adirondack chairs looked new. Overall stay was OK, but cannot recommend unless the property manager addresses the cleanliness and grill concerns above.

Great stay
House was very nice, well laid out, and room. It was walkable to the beach, and also a local bakery. I felt it was expensive, but worth it in the end. Only issue I had was getting the key when I arrived, but called the phone number and they got it straightened out right away.

Beautiful home in Gearhart
We stayed here 3 years ago when this home was brand new and loved it. The home is still in good shape although the landscaping is a bit overgrown. Nice, quiet neighborhood.

Great place away from bustle of cannon beach
Easy to rent. This neighborhood was peaceful. 5 min walk to the beach which went on for miles. I’m glad I rented here instead of cannon beach. Much less crowded and little traffic. Haystack rock is famous but overrated. Go to hugs point instead. Less people and more starfish The house was clean and very tastefully decorated. We had a great time

We had a great time, and the house and location perfectly fit our needs. My only suggestion would be to add more pots and serving plates/bowls to your kitchen. These offerings were pretty scant for a group our size and consequently preparing meals was a bit difficult.

The house is well equipped, well decorated, and comfortable. The beach access requires a bit of a walk but is exceptionally beautiful. Completely stocked for basics including grilling supplies, except for garbage bags and dishwasher soap. Only problem is ambiguity about the garbage pick up. I'll be really bummed if I get charged for misunderstanding the garbage instructions.

Gearhart Getaway
This is a great beach house, very tastefully furnished with just the right amount of beach decor. There was plenty of common space in the great room area with living room, dining room and large kitchen for spending family time together. Two minor things to note, 1. The walk to the beach is longer than stated and is hard for anyone with difficulty walking up step inclines or long distances in deep sand on the dune access path, 2. Porch areas have a deep drop off to the driveway and patio areas that should have a step added for safety. Overall, we loved are visit and would recommend this rental!

The house was wonderful. Beautiful bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. Very clean. The upstairs bedrooms didn’t have curtain or blinds and it got warm up there but opening the windows cooled it down well. The neighborhood was quiet and had a nice little bakery/mini-market within walking distance. The beach was further than we thought but still a very nice and easy walk. Jay was extremely responsive and great to work with when I had questions. All in all, great experience. We would stay here again.

Quiet and comfortable accommodations
Very lovely and clean home. Spacious rooms and bathrooms.Kitchen had ample supplies: cooking and baking equipment, plates, utensils, etc, so we did not have to run the dishwasher after each meal. Be sure to bring ice - the fridge does not have an icemaker and there are no ice trays. Beds were comfortable. Showers /bathrooms were very clean and had good water pressure. Wood burning fireplace was very nice as was the available wood. Really close to Seaside for day visit, but nice to return to a quiet neighborhood. Walk to beach was nice and easy, however the house is not beachfront nor does it have a view of the beach. Lovely lawn/garden area, enjoyed having my coffee on the front porch as the sun came up! We would rent this house again.

Gorgeous Beach Getaway
This house is absolutely gorgeous. It was super clean and beautiful inside. There was a nice backyard patio to hang out in when we returned from the beach and it's just a couple of blocks from the beach and some of the best sand-dollar hunting in the area. Will definitely look out for this rental in the future.

Great location, clean property.
Stayed here with our two young children, ages 4 and 2. They had no problem making the short walk to the beach or into town. They loved the bunk beds upstairs too. The property was well presented and fulfilled our needs. If I had one criticism it would be that there are no window coverings in the children’s bedroom upstairs, making it difficult to get them to nap or to go down for the night during the warmer months with longer days. Overall a great place and we would stay there again.

Great beach house
I recently stayed at this house for a long weekend with my husband and four kids. We loved this house! It had space for everyone, and the layout was perfect for my family. The location was nice, as the beach was just a short walk away. It was nice to explore Seaside and Astoria, as well. The only thing I would suggest (and I saw another reviewer mention) would be the lack of window coverings in the master bathroom. The neighbors have a clear view to the shower. We didn’t use this bathroom for this reason. It worked out fine for us, but if someone was staying there who didn’t want to go upstairs for a shower, it could be problematic.

Girls getaway!
A group of us women planned an escape from our kids and hubbys! This house was the perfect size for 6 women, and open floor plan of the kitchen and living room was great for cooking and conversation. When a need arose I contacted the owner Jay, and he immediately took care of us. He also walked me thru using the wood fireplace which was a treat as the weather was pretty chilly! Gearhart is a very charming little town, I will definitely return.

Beautiful beach house
This home was beautifully designed and decorated with quality finishes throughout. It was well appointed in the kitchen for cookware and utensils. The home was fresh and recently built. We honored the no shoe request and treated the home well. It is a short walk to the beach and to the small area of shops and restaurants. The sumptuous master bed could be an issue for a short person or an elderly as it is very high. Extremely comfortable however.

We had a wonderful stay in Gearhart. The house was lovely, clean, and well-stocked. Super easy access to the beach and to Gearhart's town center. Quiet street. We even got to see an elk herd!

Our family loved the large open common spaces and how comfy yet nice the decor is! This house is one block from the beach access trail which made morning beach walks easy. It's also within walking distance to the little bakery and shops in darling Gearhart.

Small family gathering during a few rainy days. The house was close to the beach if you wanted to dash down for a few. Watched the elk wander down the road. Nicely appointed home with comfy beds.
