De Wine Down Bungalow op Seneca Lake zorgt voor uw totale privacy met 1 exclusieve parkeerplaats voor uw verblijf. De bungalow is een volledig gescheiden appartement van het hoofdhuis, waar u een exclusieve toegang tot het toetsenblok ontvangt om uw weg naar een ruime bungalow te openen. The Wine Down heeft een bad / douchecombinatie en een kast met beddengoed / handdoeken. Dinette voor twee, kitchenette met minikoelkast, magnetron, broodroosteroven, Keurig en soorten kcups en thee. Het zitgedeelte bestaat uit twee draaibare stoelen om tv te kijken en te ontspannen. Een comfortabel queensize bed met extra kussens en beddengoed voor uw gemak. Op verzoek inpakken en spelen.
De bungalow is ideaal voor particulieren die willen genieten van de FLX-regio en al het aanbod. We bevinden ons op een perfecte locatie voor talloze wijnmakerijen en uitkijkpunten aan het meer. Minder dan een mijl verderop is de jachthaven van Roy, waar u kajaks, paddleboards en boten kunt huren voor de dag. Bovendien zijn we minder dan 5 minuten rijden naar het centrum van Genève en tal van restaurants om te verkennen tijdens uw tijd. *** Opmerking: Deze verhuur heeft geen toegang tot het dok / meer als het hoofdhuis wordt verhuurd. Close to town, restaurants, and wineries. The unit is in a converted garage behind the main house with a DIY vibe that's basic, but functional. Nothing fancy, but comfortable.

No Water view but access

From the photos that were on the listing do not show you what your actual view is. You are staying at a repurposed garage that is very nice that isn’t the problem. But I thought we would have a lake view. What you actually see is the main house and no view of the water. The listing in my spouse and I is very misleading. I sat sometime on this review before writing It because I hoped my opinion would change. Unfortunately it didn’t. If you want to have a place close to the water this is the spot if you want a water view this is not. Overall had a great stay but the deception of having a view really hurt my opinion of this place.

Great place to stay

We had a great stay in Geneva. The Wine Down Bungalow is clean, spacious and perfect for a few nights away. We had the dock to ourselves for the solar eclipse. Great space to stare out onto the lake. Our first morning, the shower water did not get hot. The owners were quick to respond and it was fixed immediately. Very responsive and easy to deal with. We’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute place to stay about a ten minute drive away from the center of Geneva.

Great Eacape

The property was as expected… the (shared) dock was a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Seneca Lake. We were lucky that the “big house” was not occupied, as the lakefront would not have been nearly as nice with others around so close. It was perfect for us to come and go while visiting friends and family, would stay again. Owner and Manager were perfect.

Needs updating because several things are broken, paint job is shabby, linens are poor quality, the bed mattress is very soft and sinks in the middle, One window will not lock and a shade needed re-stringing in order to work. Otherwise the place has potential if upgraded.

Cozy getaway

This is a great place for a quick getaway to the lake. The bungalow is basically a renovated garage which is very cool but also a little small. But, it was perfect for me and my boyfriend for a couple days. Stephanie was very nice and communicated quickly with me. The dock is absolutely beautiful with really nice Adirondack chairs. There is a larger home that has more access to the property which was disclosed in the description. I was completely okay with being able to have access to the dock. It is next to a railroad which was surprising but you can’t hear it at all at night. Overall I really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow, it was clean, has AC, and plenty of room for a quick couple nights on the lake. Definitely recommend!

If you decide to stay in the “bungalo”, there are some things you need to know: 1. It’s not a bungalo, it’s a tiny studio apartment above a garage 2. There are some steep steps going up to the place, and the chairs are very uncomfortable. 3. You DO NOT have a view of the lake. All of the pics of the lake are from the view of the big lake house. 4. There is no cable and the roku remote is broken, but you can use your phone with the roku app. Basically, it’s a bit of false advertising going on here. Not worth the price.

Staying at Stephanie’s Wine Down bungalow was perfect for my wife and I. The bungalow is great for a couple and we loved getting to meet the other families in the main house as we used the shared dock. If we’re ever back in the area this would be our go-to place. Stephanie is fantastic and was extremely responsive. There were nice touches in place upon arrival.

Forget about the miserable school year

My wife and I are both public school teachers. We needed to get away from this awful year of teaching during a pandemic—and a break from our kids as well. The Wine Down Bungalow was a perfect match for what we needed!
