'We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel and were impressed with the facilities and friendly staff. We returned for the 2nd time having also enjoyed our first stay. Love the views of Torbay and the internal architecture and furnishings of the hotel. It was a shame that the outdoor pool was closed but enjoyed the indoor pool / spa facilities.'

'This is a fantastic hotel to stay in. The owners Jane and John go above and beyond to make your station enjoyable. The decor is beautiful and very in keeping with the age of the hotel. All the bedrooms are individually designed with a great deal of style and thought. There is a pretty terrace overlooking the garden and ample parking. 'The place is just walking distance to the harbour, restaurants and shops. Breakfast are good. Comfy bed. The only worst thing is it smells so bad everytime we open the door going in, it’s only that part immediately open the door from outside. I don’t know where it is coming from bcoz it don’t smell in the toilet, not inside the room. Only upon opening the room, maybe from the vent. I didn’t bother to inform the staff in reception as smell fades away. I should have really. We stayed in room 208....

'What a gem of a place. Everything was spotless, the room was lovely and one of the best things was the room had a small fridge for fresh milk, rather than those awful pots of uht you get everywhere now.
