Strange that a hotel of this class doesn't have a bar or restaurant though. I know they offer a glass of wine in the evening, but having to walk 10 minutes to find somewhere to go for a nightcap we found unusual. Feels more like a wedding venue than a full-service hotel. Breakfast was very good.'

'The Summit Street Inns was a beautiful place to stay. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff is lovely and super accommodating. The breakfast was in an elegant room with lots of variety. The cook even cooked my husband freshly cooked eggs! I highly recommend this wonderful historic house. It has a wonderful ambiance and is close to lots of restaurants. '

'The hotel is dated and dark and needs upkeep. I paid for a king-size room, but the internet connection didn't work there, so I had to be moved to a double, which was just as dark, with torn carpet and broken lampshades. The internet connection did work there, but the TV stopped working after a while. The following day, I was offered to move to other rooms, each with different problems of their own: loud air conditioning, and no internet connection again (even though it was an "upgrade"). I...

'It was just very noisy. Could hear the people above us and the ones next to us seemed very loud at times. It was convenient to what we were doing and it was clean. Staff was very friendly.'

We did not feel comfortable staying there, especially with our one-year-old. We slept horribly, woke up feeling sick from breathing in the mold, and left as quickly as we could. 'When I arrived, there was a group of young adults outside with very little clothing and smoking what smelled like marijuana unfortunately I had already paid for the hotel so I couldn’t leave. Got to my room no toilet paper in the room realize when I went to go to bed. The floor was dirty. Went to take a shower in the morning and the bath mat was dirty. The group of people that were out front of the hotel were there till about 10:30 in the morning, making all kinds of noise right at the front...

'No amenities. The front desk with its fractured safety glass did respond when asked for the filthy room window to be cleaned. The night life in the parking lot was something to behold. Yelling continued even after the police came for a visit. Bringing a daughter to this location may not be a wise plan. On the flip side the cleaning staff was very kind.'
