'Extremely clean and comfortable! The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is I wish the website mentioned each room has a unique scent. I have a fragrance allergy and didn't see that about the scents until at the airport reading the check in material that was sent to me right before our stay (this material was well thought out and great!). You can buy candles in the scent of each room if you'd like, which is something that others probably really like. I called and they removed a diffuser or air...

'Moxy was great! Bar tenders and welcome staff were awesome! Very convenient for Starbucks to be on the bottom floor! Bunk bed room was awesome just wish there was a fridge for us to put leftovers in!'

'The Elliott House was very picturesque, the room was comfortable and the inner courtyard was beautiful. Wine and cheese there in the evenings. Restaurants and shops all around; we never had to get the car out of parking. That said, the walls were thin, there was no in-room coffee machine (only available in the courtyard every morning for one hour) and no daily room cleaning. Also no staff on site after 10 p.m. Not sure we'll stay there again with so many other choices nearby. '

'Further away from downtown Charleston than expected. Be prepared for a 2 mile walk (interesting though & felt safe) or a short Uber ride to/from town. Hotel looks really dated-popcorn ceiling-uneven carpet innroom-dated furniture-honestly felt very expensive. $400 per night. Perhaps it was because there were some major events happening in town that rates were higher. Staff was very friendly though, although would not choose this location again if we came back to Charleston.'
