Looked very rundown and dated from the outside. The staff was very pleasant and professional. My room was very clean but the walls were chipped paint and there was rust around the sink and bathtub.

Don’t believe the ratings
Super quiet and clean hotel, but that’s where it ends. With the high rating of this property, I expected some hidden nugget, but I never found it. The rooms are tiny with cinder block walls, the bed was very uncomfortable with an air conditioner roared to life like a jet engine and shut off after about 10 minutes without any option to leave a fan on constant for air movement. (I know, because it was too uncomfortable to sleep.). And, we’re more than a few decades past where pink tiled bathrooms were in style. The parking lot and surrounding area was very questionable when we pulled up, but I couldn’t get out of the reservation. This property is WAY overpriced and overrated for what it is. Friendly staff, and again, SUPER clean, but this is one that does not live up to the rating.

This is my "go to" motel when I need to stay in the Scottsbluff/Gering area. The Managers/owners are very conscientious and have provided a safe and comfortable environment for a single woman traveling alone. Their rooms are nicely done, warm and welcoming.

The only thing that made me sad was that our room was cleaned and we were only staying two nights. I feel it is not a valid use of resources of people, water and supplies to clean a room when the patron did not request it. I had medical supplies that cannot be around chemicals and odors of any kind. Otherwise Tom and crew were great.

Dogs and cats are wonderful but many of us don't want a hotel that is trafficked by lots of them. Allergies and simple cleanliness are important considerations. Arcadia is animal free and clean as a whistle. This property is cared for by long time owners who are very nice people who truly care that you have a very clean and very comfortable room. We thank you for for giving us a good place to rest before (and after) we explored the Oregon Trail and museums.

The Arcadia is an older property that has been very nicely renovated. I had to cut my stay short due to a family problem and they most kindly refunded my money for the balance of the reservation period. Would definitely recommend the Arcadia!

This is small but superb little hotel. It’s the right size for single travelers or small families. Quiet at night and cheerful in the mornings. Check-in was smooth and painless. My room was clean and very friendly. Bathroom was clean and plenty of towels that were freshly laundered. Perfectly working small fridge, microwave and coffee pot in room as well. If traveling in Nebraska I highly recommend the Arcadia for a pleasant stay and reasonably priced rooms.

The bathroom had had water setting in the soap dishes. There was a small bug on the shower curtain I noticed after I got in the shower. The toilet had stains. The sink area behind the faucets was wet. The room was nice, but It was odd that the TV was on when we entered the room.

Clean, quiet older motel with superb ownership
This is the type of motel I would normally pass on, if it hadn't been for the stellar reviews on hotels.com. I was impressed with the level of service and cleanliness. Despite being an older motel, it was scrupulously clean. The staff described all the energy saving features keyed to the room upon checkin, and immediately changed me to a different room when we discovered a problem with my original room. They even called me within 30 minutes of checkout when they discovered an item I'd accidentally left behind. The rooms, even those with outside doors, are quiet. I opted for one that opened to the inside, and it was wonderfully quiet and comfortable. Would stay again in a heartbeat if I was in the area!

The room was packed full of furniture. There was very little room to move. The air conditioner was very loud and inadequate. Most of tv stations were standard vision and low picture quality. Very few high definition channels. The place seamed clean over all. Bottom line not worth the price.
