'The house has real potential, but also has real problems. It needs some maintenance in a major way. The toilet won’t flush. The faucet in the bathtub fell off. The grill had not been cleaned in so long that it broke out into a fire. When communicated these problems with the host, the response was I’m sorry for the inconvenience. We will have our handyman fix it after you leave. Frankly, I wanted it fixed while we were there. They also did not provide the necessary materials for cleaning dishes....

'We were looking for a quiet place to get away as a family and this property did not disappoint. It was a nice, clean and comfortable home. We enjoyed grilling, relaxing around the fire pit and on the porch, and going for walks around the property. It’s out in the country so there’s privacy and quiet but it’s also so close enough to town if you’re looking for things to do. Also close to Cacapon State Park! We would definitely go back. '

'We had a great stay! The cabin was clean and had just enough space for our family. We absolutely loved the setting with frequent wildlife sightings and great spaces to relax and enjoy the mountain views. The host was attentive and checked in often to give inspiration for restaurants and activities nearby. Berkeley Springs is close enough to enjoy the town but far enough away to give you a true feeling of peace out in the woods. We loved our stay and are thankful to have found this little gem!'
