Lovely quiet atmosphere, service and most helpful staff. The vendin machine offered a good variety of drinks, chocolate etc. EG Cafe Latte only £1.20 a medium size cup.Where else do you find this price? The breakfast was all you'd expect and there is a swimming pool next dooe, which on another occasion I'd bring my swimming trunks to use.The bus to Marine Point is also just £1/1.20 for over 65's.Price for Nature Reserve is £30, and Shuttle to get there is.... £40.So I decided to watch migration of birds from near Tarifa - free- which was pretty successful.I hired a Car for 3.5 days. But the hotel was very good value and great staff. Also there was a space for parking always available on the three nights it was needed.

Location great!

We had a car and lucked into getting one of only a few available spots to park just outside the hotel doors on the street. That was their only "parking"! Debated not using the car to drive up the rock, for fear of losing our parking spot. Great location! Tired but big room.

If your looking for a cheap but not hi spec hotel this hotel fits the bill. The decor is exactly the same as it was 35 years ago!!! But the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room had a fridge and a air conditioning unit (very noisy) and was clean. Ltd sockets for modern day tech but apart from that was fine. Small pool, (didn't use) so can't comment on that. Yeah overall we had a great weekend and the hotel suited us as we were in the centre of main Street, so ideally situated. But it dated and probably needs a massive investment to bring it up to 2026 standards.

Hotel located is in nice area and walkable to everywhere. Quest and clean , small rooms ,really outdated and not much technology, I think renovation will help this hotel to look great in the future if owners take care of it . It’s pool on the side and bar , thank you

The Bristol is very central in Gibraltar. It is in a great spot for: shopping, bars and rrstaurants. It is a badic hotel but the price for Gibraltar reflects that. It is quite dated but clean and the staff are friendly.

Call it a Hostel or Boarding House, not a Hotel

Not a great place at all. As soon as you leave the lobby, you realise its very out of date and not invested in. I was on the upper 3rd floor and the room was very dated. Brown wood stain and pink walls, the 2 single beds were very hard and difficult to get comfortable on, others were saying the same! The bathroom was very small, better to get undressed in the bedroom as there wasn't enough room. The shower was a dribbling affair with very poor water pressure which took ages. There were no drink making facilities in the rooms, I guess the electrics wouldn't cope with the kettle loads. Breakfast was also poorly thought out. One choice of cold meat, one choice of hard cheese, bread / toast, boiled eggs and cornflakes. Not an exciting affair at all. Other than breakfast, you couldn't get a meal any other time of the day, there was a coffee machine and a snack machine on the ground floor. Generally, the place was in a poor state and I would not stop there again.
