'Traveling with 3 adults, 3 kids 1-13 and 2 dogs and we all fit. Cottage was very clean, air conditioner worked wonderfully and communication with the host was prompt. The kids loved the fishing, kayaks and paddle boats. The neighbors were great and very friendly. I highly recommend Van Cleve park and Gladstone beach if your traveling with kids. 'Brought niece and her 2 teens to visit family in Gladstone. 12 yo nephew LOVED fishing!! Everyone went out in kayaks, paddleboat, and played yard games. Exceptionally clean and stocked with what we needed. Reached out to owners for a couple questions and they replied immediately. Definitely recommend this place. '

'We set up this short family vacation to celebrate my dad's 87th birthday in Gladstone, where he was born and raised. He and all of us were pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and cozy, and the location across the street from the lake and park was ideal. Vrbo failed to send us the promised door code for check-in, but we were able to get in with the back-up key, and the owner sent us the keypad code when we asked for it.
