Prachtige eigentijdse retraite op 5 afgelegen hectare in het charmante Sonoma Town

Dit gloednieuwe vijf hectare groot huis in Glen Ellen is de ultieme prive-retraite. Je zult nooit een buurman zien, maar je kunt je autosleutels ophangen --- het is vijf minuten lopen naar uitzonderlijk eten en een gastronomische supermarkt (denk aan Whole Foods). Bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving, waaronder Jack London State Park (een historisch monument met geweldig wandelgebied) en vele beroemde en bekroonde wijnmakerijen, liggen allemaal op loopafstand.

De met kunst gevulde binnenruimtes zijn professioneel ingericht. Er zijn 11 'plafonds, gepolijste betonnen vloeren en Carrera marmer tellers overal. Spectaculaire vergezichten wenken vanuit elk raam en elke deur. Doorstroom gemeenschappelijke ruimtes omvatten een open ultramoderne keuken en lichte ruime woon- en eetgedeeltes. Een afgesloten Lanai met glazen schuifdeuren opent naar de trellised buiten dineren / onderhoudende ruimte en het zwembad. Er zijn drie slaapkamers met eigen badkamer, elk met een eigen zitgedeelte buiten met een buitengewoon uitzicht op het bos / de bergen. Grote master suite met kingsize bed, een zithoek met een tweepersoons slaapbank en een kantoor. Een tweede suite biedt ook King-accommodaties, terwijl de derde suite twee eenpersoonsbedden heeft die kunnen worden omgezet in een King.

Binnenvoorzieningen zijn onder andere: open haard, ultramoderne keukenapparatuur, 60-inch flatscreen-tv, directe tv, betrouwbaar satelliet-internet, gezoneerd indoor Sonos digitaal muzieksysteem met luidsprekers door het hele huis, luxe beddengoed en inbraakalarm. Er is een aparte wasruimte, damestoilet en overvloedige opslag en open ruimte.

Exterieur voorzieningen zijn onder andere: verwarmd / overdekt zwembad, buiten dineren voor 12, ligstoelen onder schaduwrijke trellis, kussens bij het zwembad, gas grill, grote tuin, fruitboomgaard en een hangmat opgehangen in het bos.

Dit afgelegen, gated, 3 slaapkamers, 3. 5 bad huis bevat alles wat nodig is voor een fantastisch uitje met vrienden en familie, waaronder een pingpongtafel en een speeltafel. Perfect voor een familieweekend, yoga-retraite of een speciale plek om gewoon samen te komen en opnieuw verbinding te maken. Je zult het indrukwekkend en toch gezellig vinden; adembenemend. gastvrij, vlekkeloos en state-of-the-art.

Check-in was so easy and the kitchen was fabulous! Perfect for making meals and the central location made for a wonderful community feel. The pictures online don't do it justice as the property is even more spacious and beautiful in-person. From the amenities that make it so easy to drop in and be in vacation mode, to the design of the home that is beautifully done and looks like it is out of a magazine. The the layout was perfect for our family of 6, and the outdoor area felt secluded and spacious with a pool heated to the perfect temp. The indoor bedrooms were beautifully done, as were the bathrooms. We have stayed in a lot of wine country properties over the last 10 years, but this is by far the best rental we have stayed in and our new favorite place. Oh, and you are SO close to Glen Ellen, a 7 min walk to cute restaurants, bakeries and stores. I would give the entire property, the generous host and our entire experience an 11 out of 10!

Just What We Needed!

Fantastic Wine Country Home

Our rental in Glen Ellen, CA was the perfect home for our wine country trip to Sonoma and Napa. The house is stunning. Plenty of room for three couples to spread out. The owner was able to push the 2 twin beds together in one of the rooms so we all had king sized beds. There was plenty of seating, both inside and out for all of us to have nice dinners and drinks. The grounds were spectacular with apple and pear trees and the pool was warm and perfect for relaxing. The house is close enough to Glen Ellen that we could walk to restaurants and the market but it was secluded enough to make us feel like we were the only people in the area. We had high expectations for the house and it exceeded them. I highly recommend this home if you are spending time in Sonoma or Napa.

Exceptional Property for Relaxing Family Gathering

Our family loved this beautiful and relaxing property. The layout allowed for indoor gatherings for meals and games, while ensuring everyone could have a feeling of privacy at the start and end of the day. There were multiple outdoor areas for meals that had beautiful views, yet the property still felt completely private. We agree with all of the positive comments from the previous reviewers, especially that the pictures can't do this home justice.

Perfect wine country retreat!

We just returned from 10 blissful days at this beautiful property in Glen Ellen. It's just a short drive (walk) from the charming downtown area of Glen Ellen, which has a well-stocked supermarket, fabulous restaurants, a French bakery and gourmet breakfast spot. It's conveniently located to several wineries and all the restaurants in downtown Sonoma. The house itself is perfection - a great layout for a family with children, teens, grandparents...everything on one floor, but spread out so everyone has their own space and bathroom. Two communal areas for hanging out and socializing make it a excellent space for family gatherings. The ping pong table was a HUGE hit with our teens. The pool area is tranquil and relaxing, ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee in the early morning and a glass of sparkling wine at the close of the day. We had a great experience with the property manager. This home is well maintained. It had all the right touches to make it feel homey, but luxurious. Gorgeous wine country views from each and every window was the icing on the cake. We will definitely be back!

Quiet Luxury in Glen Ellen

I have been a Vrbo renter for over a decade and I would have to say this might be the best North American property I've ever stayed in. We were a group of three couples and the accomodation couldn't have been more perfect - everyone with their own rooms with ensuite, large well equipped kitchen and great outdoor spaces and gardens. Excellent dining (and groceries) a short walk away. Everything was simply perfect - including the hosts who were welcoming and easy to contact.

Perfect, perfect!

Where do I begin - this was the most perfect rental ever. The house is absolutely stunning, pristinely clean, spacious, appointed with everything you could possibly need, and beautifully decorated (and with really nice housewares and furniture- not your typical cheap rental things). We cooked a few meals in and it was so nice to have a fully outfitted kitchen and even some nice-to-have decorative pieces that made it feel like a home and our celebration feel special (i.e. charcuterie boards, cloth napkins, placemats, serving platters, etc) The outside was equally (if not more) stunning - the landscaping is an absolute dream - and we even ditched our winery plans one day to take full advantage of the pool. Our group kept saying we felt like we were at a wellness retreat the whole weekend. The location couldn't have been better - a quick walk into Glen Ellen town - we did a bakery visit, grocery run, and evening dinner all on foot. We were also then very centrally located to do winery excursions during the day. We had a relatively easy time getting an Uber to dinner one night, (which I know in some of the less-centrally located parts of Sonoma County can be a challenge) just give yourself a little more wiggle room for the ride to be picked up/arrive than you might be used to in a more urban/suburban location.
