The West Nest -Luxury Cottage, Sea Views & Hot Tub

Nestled into the hillside in the western corner of Skye, The West Nest is the perfect place to unwind, connect with nature and recharge.
The house is perched high on Glendale with uninterrupted views down the Glen and out to North Uist.
Locally, village amenities can be found in both Lephin and Dunvegan.

Deigned by Fairgray Design, the house has a modern Scandinavian decor and an appreciation for Danish design classics and craftsmanship.
The open plan living and dining rooms make the most of the stunning west facing views and the Charnwood log burner with `clearview` glass.
The two bedrooms both have very comfortable king size beds and hotel quality linens.
The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and there is an additional family bathroom located next to bedroom 2.

When you`re enjoying the house I`ll be back home in Glasgow but I`m usually available on text or phone.

Glendale is at the far western corner of Skye and is steeped in local history.
There is a village shop, a coffee shop, a fantastic locally-owned restaurant and lovely walks from the house.

Neist Point and the world famous Three Chimneys restaurant are both a 5-10 minute drive.

There are more shops, cafes and even a stunning Castle in Dunvegan which is 15 minutes in the car.

You will need a car to access the house and we have plenty of private parking.
Don`t park in the passing place outside the gate, go through the gate and park in the driveway.

Strictly no parties or events

Noise must be kept to a minimum after 10pm, especially outside.

No more than 4 occupants at the house.

Outdoor bath tub:
-The tub is used entirely at your own risk.
-Children are not permitted in the tub.
-Do not use the tub while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
-Do not place anything on top of the burner unit.
-Do not take any glass to the tub. Use the plastic glasses provided.
-Do not touch the hot water outlet once the fire is lit.
-Do not enter the tub if the water is over 40 degrees celsius (104 Farenheit).
-Consult your doctor before using the tub if you are receiving medical treatment, are on medication, are pregnant or have a long-term illness.
