'What a wonderful property - an historic gem, with most parts dating back over two centuries, yet well suited to 21st century guests. The character and comfort of the house greatly enhanced our Berkshire getaway, and the rural setting was deeply relaxing. This is a real home full of New England charm and warmth.'

'It was the short weekend runaway we needed and were looking forward to. It's a quick ride to Pittsfield but we decided to cross the border to Manchester, VT. The place was as described, quiet, clean, secluded but easy to find. The Lake was fantastic but, due to weather, decided against taking the kayaks out. Perhaps next time. Thanks to Rich for being a great and gracious host!'

'This house was the perfect get away house for out family! The place was clean and the kitchen well stocked! We had wonderful large family dinners and enjoyed heading into town for meals and fun too. We had the best hikes with are wonderful dog that we got to include, it was a very special week. Great location and the most peaceful and amazing views from the deck and the dock. 'Such a cozy cabin in the woods! We brought our own bird feeders and food and the birds came in immediately. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquillity. The cabin had a lovely porch with a patio table and chairs and we enjoyed our morning coffee listening to birdsong'

'The house was very clean and well stocked. There were so many fun things to do - swimming pool, ping pong, darts, air hockey, gym, pinball, basketball hoop, foosball, etc. it was a great house for 4 families. The owner was very communicative and responded quickly to questions about the neighborhood, it was also very well located. Highly recommend!'

Our family enjoyed the spacious bedrooms and large backyard complete with a fire pit, large hot tub, grilling area and ample seating. 'Comfortable home with amazing view. Enjoyed taking a walk around the lake (1 hour approx). Had an amazing dinner at Dream Away lodge which is 15 minutes away. '
