The house, area, yard were all GREAT! I had sent a message, as soon as I booked the house, asking for an early check in due to us taking a red eye into Denver. I knew we would be bushed from our East coast to CO red eye. I figured because we scheduled so early this was why I wasn’t hearing back. The week before I sent another message. It was also not answered. So we found other things to do and weren’t upset about not being able to go to the house early. While there the house was GREAT! It had everything we wanted including Moose wandering through the yard. I needed to bake for the wedding and the kitchen was amply supplied with what I needed. I would absolutely recommend visiting this house.

Just what we all needed for a relaxing fall break. The house was perfect for the 5 of us! Everything was clean and comfy. Love that the location is private but close to town. Highly recommend!

The location of the property tucked in the side of the Colorado mountains was awesome. The view and wildlife were amazing to see. We saw and heard several elk, mule deer and little critters during our stay.

Overall we enjoyed out stay. We traveled in the heat of the Summer and while fans were provided the upstairs did get quite hot, Usually would not be a big issue but we had an infant that naps during the day and this did present a problem. The host did go out of her way to bring us extra fans but it would be nice to have some window AC Units in this upstairs bedrooms as it was hard to manage the very hot during the day to quit nice and cool at night closing and opening windows for kids rooms. The property was great with swings the play on and lots of rooms to explore for kiddos, beautiful view and privacy.

It was a rainy weekend when we stayed (pretty rare for Glenwood), so some of the time we couldn't enjoy the views. It's a nice rustic cabin in terms of the location. Some of the seams are showing a bit (sticky doors, creaky floors). If that stuff is not a bother to you, great place to stay and probably great stargazing.

Very quaint cabin, quirky and unique in all the right ways. Plenty of space for our family of 7. Loved laying around playing games in front of the wood stove on chilly evenings. Felt very at home.

Great stay! Super clean and excellent location. Manager was quick to respond to our requests regarding the TV streaming the Super Bowl. Super close to Sunlight Resort and town. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked for all of our cooking needs. We will be back.

From the moment we walked in the door, we were impressed with this charming, cozy cabin/home. The photos online don't do it justice--it's not as rustic as you'd expect. From stained glass windows, beautiful hardwood floors, comfortable furniture, modern appliances, genuine crystal stemware, fully stocked kitchen with all necessary cookware and utensils, very comfortable beds with high quality linens and duvets, interesting book selection, plenty of dried and split firewood, TVs in every bedroom, and an ample supply of plush towels, there are pleasant surprises at every turn. There's even a piano in the living room, and a Yamaha ATV for guests to use! The location was terrific for us. Although it's a 1/2 mile up a winding road off the main road between Glenwood Springs and Sunlight Ski Resort, which could be tricky if there were a heavy snowfall (unfortunately, there was very little new snow during our ski week), the road is well-maintained. The cabin is a short 10-minute drive to Sunlight, and about 15 minutes to Glenwood Springs for groceries, libations, restaurants, the hot springs, and 'most anything else you'd need. And then there's the view: the grandeur of Mt. Sopris looms at the far end of a scenic valley, and the night sky is awesome. The thoughful owners even provide a telescope for guests to use. Imagine that!

This lovely mountain home with its alpine views and vintage decor was perfect for our family ski trip to Sunlight Mountain Resort and the Glenwood hot springs. Also, Monique is a great host with excellent communication and a willingness to assist, as needed. Thank you!

We had such an incredible stay. The host is SO communicative and kind and helpful. I’ve honestly never stayed anywhere where the host is so helpful and kind! The property is beautiful! And great sleeping arrangements and space. Great location central to so many things! Thank you for such a great weekend- and we look forward to staying again!

We enjoyed Monique's cabin and its proximity to Sunlight mountain, Glenwood and Carbondale. Monique was super responsive for the various questions we had, and really enjoyed the peaceful and quiet neighborhood.

The cabin is rustic and a beautiful view of the mountains. If you are looking for the Ritz this isn’t your cabin. The owners are quick to respond and help out with anything they can. The cabin is a work in progress and could use some updated kitchen items such as pots and pans. Overall a great place and we loved our stay.

Great little cabin in the side of a mountain with views that can't be beat. It is an old building but it adds a lot of charm, it's also pretty remote so don't expect a lot of the in town amenities(access to stores, fast internet/phone signal etc...) But if you plan a little bit and are comfortable socializing with other people then these things are not a problem. Host was very nice and communicative and helped with all the questions we had very quickly. Only potential problem was the road up in the winter but they have no control over that, just something to be aware of and plan for. We all said we would come back.
