The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. The room was very comfortable although there was occasional noise from the bar downstairs or outside tables. The Abbey is close by and the clock chimes might bother some. 'Stayed for 1 nt on 20th Aug. Had lovely home cooked Sunday lunch and our room was stunning and stylish. everything was brand new and we had a very comfortable bed which is a must x our breakfast in the morning was amazing, the staff and owner were very welcoming and friendly and even the chef came out for a chat in the evening . The weather was appalling but our stay at the inn made up for it. Thank you so much for a lovely visit We'll definitely be back.'
