Vind je eigen prive zandig wit strand, op een steenworp afstand van het huis! U kunt genieten van het adembenemende uitzicht vanaf waar dan ook in dit onlangs gerenoveerde huis. Deze plek is een geweldige ontsnapping uit de stad of de dagelijkse drukte van het leven. Deze accommodatie ligt op een korte rit van Williamsburg, Yorktown, Jamestown, Richmond en Northern Virginia. Vind rust en een koele bries om je zorgen weg te wrijven op de Noordrivier. Geniet van een groot scherm in veranda met comfortabel meubilair en een patio tafel om te genieten van de maaltijden. Deze veranda zal de beste stoel in het huis zijn om zonsopgangen, zonsondergangen en maanlicht nachten te kijken. Voorzieningen zijn onder andere 3 slaapkamers, 2 badkamers, 1 queensize slaapbank, volledig ingerichte keuken, TV, wifi, 2 flatscreen tv's, dvd-speler, gas grill, 2 volwassen kajaks, een aantal strandstoelen en zand speelgoed. This is the third time my family has stayed at this home and as always we enjoyed our time! Ashley is a fantastic host and has ensured that her home is cozy and has everything you need for a long weekend or week away. Our personal fave is how comfy the beds are, which we've found can be lacking at other rentals. Close enough to restaurants and shopping(15-20 minutes) but you still far enough away to enjoy the quiet! Until next time :-)

This was the 4th time we have rented this house. The house, location and surroundings are as beautiful this time as the 3 previous times we have stayed. There are Eagles and dolphins every day. We fished and caught a skate, a little shark, a couple of small fish and several pesky Blue Crabs. The location is remote but not far from shopping and activities. The neighbors are great and it is very peaceful. The house is completely equipped for all your needs. Spent a great deal of our time sitting on the screened in back porch. We love this place. Plan to book again next year.

Relax and enjoy the great view

This is the third time that we have stayed in this house. The house is well appointed and has almost everything you would need. The beds are so very comfortable. PERFECTION!

This home was amazing! From the moment we walked in all stress left! It was decorated beautifully inside and outside! The enclosed back porch was the perfect place to sit and relax or to have a meal or watch the sunrise! This is our second time staying at this listing and it has inky gotten better! The upgrades in the kitchen are wonderful! The rooms are spacious and the living space is functional and comfortable! The true star of this listing is the back porch and beach! Eating breakfast or the back porch while watching the sun rise is truly magnificent. We never worried about five and six year old becoming overwhelmed in the water. The sand never became too hot to play on which made it even better! You cannot go wrong with this listing!! You will not regret it!!

Great location for views, play, and solitude

Situated at the tip of Ware Neck, the house has commanding views of Monaco Bay and even out into the Chesapeake. A private beach makes it perfect for families. The area is steeped in history as Gloucester has several ‘oldest in Virginia’ claims, plus it’s close enough to Yorktown, Williamsburg, and Jamestown for day trips. Enjoy!

Tucked back into a lovely spot we came for a wedding near Willamsburg - Mattresses were refreshingly more than comfortable! Dishwasher is not made for that counter, but no biggie, we used paper products. Comfortable, could use some updates, but what rental couldn't truly. Beautiful location would be delightful in the summertime.

Our new FAVORITE, did NOT want to leave!

We fell in love with this property the moment we pulled into the driveway. The house is off a secluded road, with only a few neighbors, who were very friendly; it was EXTREMELY peaceful. The house and porches are beautifully decorated, and laid out perfectly. It was easy for my grandfather to get around, and the perfect space for our 2.5 year old to have a blast. We loved having the yard, and the private beach was just perfect. We definitely took advantage of the kayaks, and life jackets. The house was FULLY stocked: PLENTY of towels, kitchen utensils, etc. My grandfather, my parents, my husband, our daughter, and I came for our end of summer beach trip, and we DEFINITELY did NOT want to leave, it was just the perfect little slice of paradise. We will DEFINITELY be coming back!

We love it so much that we came back!

We stayed here last year for our "Farewell to Summer" Family vacation. Liked it so much, we came back this year. The house and property are easy for my elderly mother to navigate. My children divided their time between the beach/water and tv. I lived on the screen porch. Mom and I had a Girl's Shopping Day in Gloucester. The Silver Box, Up South, Smith's Florist & Gifts, Nurtury. Fun and some great finds. Gourmet food, gifts and post office at Nuttall's. Bulbs at Brent and Becky's. The boys insisted on Bubba's Shrimp Shack, twice. Put our boat in at the Ware House Road Ramp and Mobjack Bay Marina. Beautiful boating and swimming. Didn't catch anything except a huge crab. I like that bathroom and kitchen basics are supplied. (Soap, shampoo, detergent, sponges, foil, cling wrap, paper plates, oils, s&p, etc.) Many rentals no longer supply them. Also, that there are canned goods left by guests. Some came in handy and we left some of ours there . Would like more plates but that's a minor point. The kitchen had everything we could need. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. Ashley was very accesible. Neighbors are awesome and the house --- well it was exactly as pictured. So very comfortable, well stocked and was truly a home away from home. Thank you for allowing us to stay and make it so comfortable.
