Pak niets anders dan avontuurlijke geest en camera om de speeltuin van moeder natuur vast te leggen ... vele soorten vogels en watervogels met de majestueuze Amerikaanse zeearend. Eigenschap omvat een volledig gevulde keuken (koffie selecties voorzien en verse room in de koelkast bij aankomst), alle linnengoed, wasmachine en droger, elke slaapkamer met queensize bed. (Mijn kussen matras toppers) .. kabel Tv. Gasgrill op overdekte veranda !!. Onlangs gerenoveerde badkamer 2014, warmte en airconditioning met op afstand bedienbare plafondventilatoren in elke kamer !!. Dicht bij het historische Gloucester Courthouse (15 min) en Yorktown (30 min) evenals Williamsburg en Busch Gardens. (45 min) 20 minuten naar Urbanna en 30 minuten naar Kilmarnock en Irvington. Ideale locatie voor golftoernooien bij Tides Inn en wijnreizen in Northern Neck! Twee niveaus dek ... bovendek is bedekt. Liefdestoel en ..... schommelstoelen met uitzicht op kreek ...... één blik en je wordt meteen aangetrokken door het prachtige landschap. Een goede zaak is gemakkelijk te herkennen ..... het is nog beter als het wordt genoten !! Ga lekker zitten, ontspan en geniet! Als een groter huis is wat u zoekt, heeft de Cottage een zusterbezit .... VRBO-lijst # 237972 precies op hetzelfde terrein met waterview, ...... warmte, comfort en elegantie in 3 slaapkamers en anderhalf baden.

A beautiful and restful spot!

I had a fantastic stay at the cottage in Gloucester. It is very comfortable, nicely decorated, and stocked with everything I needed. The views from the sun room and the back deck are stunning and beautiful. Most importantly, Lisa was a wonderful host. When I had issues with the TV (turned out to be nothing more than dead batteries on the remote needing to be replaced), she came right out to help,which was honestly more than I expected. In addition, we had a brief but strong storm one of the nights I was there (which does happen, of course), and the power to the neighborhood went out for perhaps two hours. Everything I needed was on hand (candles, flashlight, etc.) and she stayed in touch via text with updates until the lights were back on, which made me feel safe and cared for. I used my time at the cottage to rest in between work activities, and to see a bit of the lovely part of the world where the cottage is located. The sun room was a particularly nice spot to relax. The neighborhood was quiet and the cottage felt very private.Highly recommended! I definitely hope to return before too long.

Relaxing Get Away

The property was very nice inside, very comfortable, and also had nice outside areas from which to enjoy the beautiful view. All amenities that one would need to enjoy a relaxing vacation were available. This was our summer vacation, but we wanted to spend much of our time relaxing at a nice place with a great view to read, do crafts, etc. and this was a wonderful place for it. We would like to stay here again in the future.

Just lovely

The home is charming and equipped with almost everything a guest could need. The location is great. Views are spectacular. We caught fish, took long walks, and explored the area. Shops and restaurants in the middle peninsula and northern neck area that we visited were very nice. The hosts were very responsive. Will try to visit every year.

Our stay was just about perfect! A beautiful home on a beautiful property with every amenity we needed. The private dock was great for fishing and just relaxing. The owners were friendly and responsive. The area offers quaint little towns, nice shops and good eateries. Our four day get away was "just what the doctor ordered." We would not at all hesitate to rent the property again.

Relaxation at its Best!

We had a wonderful week at Lisa and Portia's lovely cottage! I could have stayed another week. The home is tastefully decorated and the view excellent. It is conveniently located to visit a number of different areas. My husband fished while I went to area potteries and vintage stores. Restaurants and grocery stores were never more that 20 minutes away and very easy drives. We rested, read and relaxed. The home is outfitted with every thing you need. We did a lot of cooking and enjoyed many dishes that we don't usually cook at home. My only disapointment was that we brought too much food and didn't get to try but one local restaurant. Thanks so much for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Perfect Getaway

This was one of the more relaxing vacations I have had. It was well worth the 6+ hour drive to get there. Once there it was zen time. Lots of things to do in the immediate area...lots of historical places to go. Even if you don't eat crabs, like me, it was fun to set out the trap and just go check every now and then and pull a few up. I will say they were all healthy looking crabs so the water must be very clean. Lisa was great. If there was a question we had she was on it. She stayed in contact to check in just to be sure all was good. She was very much on top of things...plus she has a great sense of humor. Overall I would rate this as one of the best vacations I have had and would definitely stay there again if the opportunity presents itself. 5+ Stars!
