If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of traffic and freeways, you'll definitely want to stay here! Nestled among trees about 1300 ft above in the mountains, you will truly enjoy a wonderful, quite gem!! I cannot say enough about this place, and we've already booked our next trip this summer!
First off, Rose asks if she can greet you with chicken soup or chili with homemade bread or cornbread. Wow! Just wonderful after a long drive to come inside and already have food ready to go. She's a wonderful cook!! And it was honestly such a treat to come to.
Second, we opened the fridge to find it stocked with some nice goodies! Eggs and bacon, various juices, bottled water, and milk and creamers, to name a few, and the freezer had some quick microwaveable items that would be great in a pinch! On the counter was a wicker basket with additional goodies, like crackers and granola bars, popcorn, fruit, and oatmeal. You won't go hungry, I promise you that!
Third, the place was PERFECT. It's the perfect size for a studio, and all of the little touches made it feel so wonderful! You won't have to worry about much if you've forgotten anything: she's got it all, and then some! The towels were absolutely lovely, and the bedding was just heavenly to fall into after a long day of hiking, exploring, and wine tasting. Most hotel beds tend to be uncomfortable, and I have a hard time sleeping, but this bed was honestly, quite nice and comfortable! Maybe it's all the pillows... since we also have a ton of pillows on our own bed at home.
Rose is absolutely sweet, lovely, delightful, and pleasant. We could not have asked for a better hostess. You definitely should consider booking a stay here! The pictures do not do the place justice; it only gives you an idea of how incredible it is of a cabin.
While I had no cell service (I have T Mobile), my husband, who has Verizon, had excellent cell service. The Dish satellite worked well for our stay. And the Internet, for moderate activities, like email and what not, worked well. But if you're out there, get off the technology and enjoy unplugging! It's actually quite refreshing!
